Fatal Venom

The Fatal Venom™ provides a deadly combination of length with an angular strike on light-medium oil conditions.  It features the latest MOTIV® cover technology and the outstanding original Gear™ core from the Venom™ Shock.

The Gear™ core gives the Fatal Venom™ both low RG and low differential so it spins super-fast with minimal track flare.  The result is a stable ball motion with massive energy retention.

Utilizing the latest Infusion™ Pearl Reactive cover, the Fatal Venom™ offers great length and angularity. These traction characteristics joined with the control of the Gear™ core provide a clean and moderately angular motion that is ideal for scoring on drier lanes.

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant: For straighter angles on moderately dry lanes.  The Gear core and Infusion combo will allow the bowler to use the pearl to clear the front without sacrificing control down lane.
  • Balanced: A great dry lane benchmark piece.  If you know that there is not a lot of volume on the lane or the lane surface is higher friction, this will be a great first ball out of the bag.
  • Rev Dominant: When the most angular balls in the product line are too much down lane, the Fatal Venom will be the go-to option.

    New Twist on the GOAT

The Fatal Venom of the first ball that features the Gear Core found in the Venom Shock, that is wrapped in a Pearl cover. That Pearl cover is another version of the Infusion Pearl Reactive cover stock. This ball is the best compliment to the Venom Shock that we have seen in our line, ever IMO. When the cover of the Shock gets to be too much, or too early, you can switch to the Fatal Venom and start chasing the pattern further in without fear that the ball won’t make the corner. This ball is truly worthy of the name “Venom”

    Fatal Venom Review

    Review:

The Fatal Venom is one of the newest releases from MOTIV Bowling. This piece is not only great looking, but the performance will have MOTIV fans wanting multiple of these in their bag. We brought back the original Gear core and paired it with the Infusion Pearl Reactive cover stock, the Fatal Venom has a stable ball motion down lane that will retain its energy longer, and with the pearl cover stock the Fatal Venom will be long and angular and just destroy the pins.

    Comments:

Benchmark performance, the venom series has always been a staple in my bag and the Fatal is just that for me. The Fatal is the first ball out of my bag everywhere I go because it gives me what I always love out of a bowling ball, long and angular. With my higher revs, I need something to do just that and still retain its energy as I move in and the Fatal will do just that. I do recommend to break the surface a little because the Fatal does come super shiny out of the box. I used 2000 and it just opened the lane up for me and I can strike at will. Lower rev players will love this piece and probably prefer the box finish because it will go nice and long and still have the hitting power to knock all 10 down. Medium to higher rev players will like this piece because it will be a first out of the back and as lanes break down, you will need that piece that will go long and still retain its energy through the pins.

Likes: Long and angular; Retainable energy; Continuation
    Dislikes: None

I Recommend the Fatal Venom for all types of bowlers.

    Fatal Venom Ball Review

The Fatal Venom gives a combination of length with angularity on light-medium oil conditions. It has the latest MOTIV cover technology and the original Gear core from the original Venom Shock.
The Gear core gives the Fatal Venom a lower RG and lower differential so it is fast down lane with less track flare. The result of that is a stable ball motion with energy retention.
The Fatal Venom uses the latest Infusion Pearl Reactive cover. Joining this with the control of the Gear core provides a clean and moderately angular ball that is ideal for scoring on drier lanes.

    FATAL VENOM

This version is the Venom’s might be one of the cleanest and hardest cornering Venoms. I put my favorite Venom Shock layout on the Fatal Venom and I was excited to see the reaction! The ball still revs up nicely even at a 2.48 RG (15lbs). I use this ball on most of a medium to low volume house pattern on a variety of lane surfaces (wood and different synthetics). While the Fatal Venom might not always be the first ball out of the bag, it will fit nicely as a compliment to the Venom Shock to give you some added length and more angle to kick out those corners!

Every league bowler needs this ball

Where do I start, this ball is everything you would imagine and then some. This ball is super clean though the front parts of the lane, perfect for league shots and those drier conditions. The ball is super smooth for a pearl ball due to the low RG and low diff of the Gear core, but still has that fast response that you are looking for out of a pearl. I would recommend anyone bowling league should have this ball in the bag.
