The new Forge™ Fire brings the heat to the medium-heavy oil Forge™ line.   Featuring the new Infusion™ Hybrid Reactive coverstock, the Forge™ Fire has a much faster response to friction than the original Forge™.  This eye popping low rg/high differential symmetrical piece is a must have for people looking to stand out and strike!

The Infusion™ coverstock, previously used on the RipCord is an incredibly angular hybrid shell.  Bowlers reported creating more angle with the Ripcord™ than any ball previously manufactured by MOTIV® Bowling.  Now, we are offering this shell with a much lower radius of gyration and a substantially higher differential using the Detonator™ core.  The combination of an angular cover with a fast-spinning, high differential core is a ball that can create angle in high concentrations of oil. 

Bowlers who are speed dominant will be able to use the Forge™ Fire to create angle when friction begins to develop.  This larger core in the Forge Fire allows speed dominant bowlers to see the shapes that other players have with high rg cores. Rev dominant players who like to create angle will be able to do so with this ball earlier in the block or on higher concentrations of oil than they can normally use fast responding coverstocks due to the added traction from high flare and control of a low RG core.  Balanced bowlers can expect the Forge™ Fire to perform best on medium-heavy oil patterns when they need to create angle, but cannot “ball down” into truly skid/flip bowling balls.

    Freaking Fantastic

    I love this ball. It hits like a A1-Abrams battle tank. I love the versatility it gives me to play multiple lines. I am able to play with multiple speeds and the ball still hits hard from outside or in. I’m thinking of having another one drilled up with another dual angle layout for control. Something to play across even more conditions....

    What happens when you mix oil and fire?

    In the early days, the caveman invented a way to make fire. In ancient Egypt bowling was invented. And in modern history, Motiv managed a way to mix them both. The result??? FORGE FIRE. The unholy union of fire and destruction. That's what happens when you mix a little bit of oil with a whole lot of fire.

    Clean and Snappy!!!!

    I love this ball! I love how clean this ball goes through the front but reads the pattern so smoothly. Once the dry is reached...wham!!! Power!!! This ball carries anything!!! On a house shot this ball is very forgiving and strong at the same time! This ball is a definite in everyone’s arsenal!!!

    I usually do not match up well with hybrid covers, but the Infusion Hybrid Reactive cover and low rg Detonator core to me make the Forge Fire a must have... Whether you bowl mostly house or are a tournament player, this ball will allow you to open up the lane in ways pearl or reactive separately may start to burn up or be too slow. I'm a rev dominant, medium speed player, and the Forge Fire allows me to create much steeper angles when the back ends get torched, while also giving great continuation.

    Everything that has been said is true of this ball. I'm amazed how well this ball did right out of the box. My avg the last two years has been around 180 with my Venom Shock Pearl, and I loved that ball for its reliability but I was never able to get the hook out of it with the medium to heavy oil patterns they have been laying down until the end of league night, so I decided to make a new ball purchase and pre-ordered the Forge Fire as it looked just my style in the way I throw and was not disappointed with 207, 237, and 247 right off the drill press by thee Scott Bruner's pro shop. It felt amazing to go back to my glory days of when I was a youth and bowled this well. Since I've switched to Motiv bowling balls it's been a world of difference for the better in my bowling scores. I would assume my increased scores will pull more of my buddies to the Motiv brand!
