View Privacy PolicyFirst off I will start off by saying this ball is a beauty, talk about shelf appeal!!!
I'm new to the staff so not able to compare it to a whole lot but from what I hear from fellow staffers there is not much that compares to it. Unfortunately I haven't been able to throw it a whole lot cause of our house shots, but when I have been able to OMG! It's one of the strongest asymmetrical pearls that I have ever thrown. Seems cleaner through the fronts and stronger in the friction than my Alpha Jackal. The few times I have been able to bring it out is when my jackal hooks too early or burns up on me and I lose carry. I would then move right (I'm a lefty) and wheel it.
If you are a speed dominate player and have issues throwing pearl balls through your break point this is a must for you.

It's been a minute since I instantly clicked with a ball as much as I did the Flash. The shape is one that's been missing for me that the Nemesis just couldn't quite fulfil. I always found the Nemesis to be much better with surface because of how clean it was, but the Flash has such a ridiculous footprint in oil that I can throw it on higher volume shots without issue. This ball is the perfect blend of clean and fast response, and is what I would consider Motiv's best high end pearl since the OG Primal Rage, and their best high end asym pearl ever.
Layout: 65x4.5x35
House:
I can throw this on lighter volume house shots without having to worry about it seeing it in the heads and just totally stopping, and heavier shots where I need the ball to gain traction on the back part of the lane. I shot 300 in a wood house where I've historically struggled finding the right part of the lane to get the ball started. It was clean enough to get through the heads, but quick enough response to turn the corner at the end of the pattern.
Patterns:
I used this ball an entire block on highway to hell and averaged in the mid 230s effortlessly (I am not THAT good of a bowler, so this was kinda neat).
I used this ball on 44' PBA Billy Hardwick later in the practice session, felt it came into play once I had to move left and keep the ball closer to the headpin.
The only issues I've run into is that like any shiny ball, its more speed sensitive than the solids, as bowling balls need to slow down to hook. I also struggled to play straighter with it, but that's not really what it was intended for. We have Ghosts for that :)

This ball does EXACTLY what it is designed to do! This ball works amazing when the Alpha Jackal starts to move earlier, and I need something to push longer. The Flash compliments the Alpha perfectly, going a bit longer down the lane without skating through the breakpoint and also has great traction in heavy volumes of oil, allowing you to also play multiple and straighter angles when needed.
This ball is exactly what I needed in my bag for a heavy oil transition ball! Get yours today!

This ball is exactly what I have been missing in my arsenal. It's a ball that I can use on a fresh house shot for league, or late in tournaments when I have to move left and swing the lane. The combination of the Infusion HV pearl reactive cover and the Predator V2 core make it so that the ball retains energy through heavy oil with enough power to drive through the pins and carry the corner pins. The Jackal Flash is a great compliment to many balls in the Motiv line but I love mine best when paired the the Alpha Jackal or Jackal Ghost.

I would like to start out by saying, this is the ball I was hoping Motiv was going to make. Utilizing the ever-successful Predator V2 core with their most continuous cover to date. The Jackal Flash is no joke, it is a strong piece of equipment that continues like no other Motiv ball before. This is what I like to see in a strong Asymmetrical Pearl; clean through the heads, starts to read the back half of the mids and continuous when encountering friction. In the past, Motiv big Asym. pearls would stand up and go forward making it hard to get in deep and boom to the right with confidence. Jackal Flash is a huge step in the right direction for Motiv bowling on their skid/flip motion the are seeking.
