Featuring a totally new core and cover, the Octane line has been completely overhauled to produce the Carbon edition.  This impressive piece of high performance engineering is super responsive and corners hard! On light-medium oil conditions, the Red Fire Pearl Octane Carbon offers easy length and continuous backend motion that clears the deck with explosive power.  

The synergies of the brand new dual-density Injector core and Agitator MXR (MaXimum energy Retention) Pearl Reactive cover stock are what make the Octane Carbon so special.  The core has a higher RG to push the ball transition further down the lane and it is complimented by the energy retention of the Agitator MXR Reactive shell, which is tuned with a 5500 Grit LSP finish.

The impressive power of the Octane Carbon’s core/cover synergy is also clearly demonstrated at the backend of the lane.  The Injector core’s dual-density design and moderate differential produce a very responsive transition, which is boosted by a release of energy from the Agitator MXR Reactive cover stock. The resulting ball motion and continuation are incredibly powerful.

    Wow

    I got this ball expecting it to be my last game ball, and I was incredibly surprised when I was just as capable of using it as my first shot ball. It's so good. For a ball to have this much length, backend, and predictability is truly an anomaly.

    BEST I'VE EVER HAD!!!!

    I just got this ball from my parents for X-Mas and used it and got it drilled a few days after. First time our of the box I shot 556 and bowled over my average. I shot 155 182 and 229. Everyone I bowl either right at or over my average. I was little skeptical in the beginning though because it was my first Motiv ball after switching over from Hammer but after bowling with it any doubt in my mind vanquished. It also hots extremely hard and I get a lot of messengers. Just a GREAT BALL!!!!!

    Versatile Ball

    I own two Octane Carbon's. One is drilled pin up 45x4.5x35. This ball is always clean through the heads and produces a sharp backend angle with a lot of power through the pocket. It's been my go to house shot killer for 9 months.

    On my second Carbon I went with a drastically different drilling with 45x2x90. This carbon gets more midlane roll and a smoother reaction in the backend, but still never feels like it hooks too early, and stores plenty of energy to carry corner pins.

    This is a great benchmark ball to be the first out of your bag.

    Great Sport Condition Ball

    Excellent medium oil ball. Doesn't read too early and has a nice snap at the end without being overly aggressive. Bowled my first PBA Regional with this ball and cashed, also had a 297 in the same tournament! This ball is great on sport oil patterns, gives me a nice area on tough conditions.
