First of all, let me just say that I'm an older bowler who picked up bowling much later in life. I started bowling after I won a Motiv bowling ball at one of my son's high school tournaments. I instantly fell in love with the way Motiv designs their balls using full color graphics instead of the traditional engraved markings. This told me that someone has a better vision for the future of bowling.
The Pride Empire is the perfect compliment to the Mythic Jackal when the lanes are starting to break down and you want to try to keep your same line. It's smooth down the lane with a precise and powerful reaction into the pins. This is the perfect benchmark ball!

I’ve had this empire for a couple months now. I drilled mine 25x4.5x45. I like to wait a little bit before writing reviews. Before over reacting either way. I will say this is one of the cleanest pearls I’ve seen in a long time. It’s a great step down from my iron forge! For a pearl it has an ice round shape to it on the backend. Very predictable probably the way I’ve got it drilled. The layout reminds me of axis/leverage drill back in the day. I see why the original Pride is a hit. You can have a great one two punch with both theses in the bag. I will say it I believe this is ball that needs to have a few games on it before you see just how good this ball really is.

This is a beautiful ball that wants to roll early, but the cover let's it cleanly pass the fronts and get farther downlane. Not too strong but not too weak. Good back end motion. I would absolutely love to have this ball in my arsenal.

The Pride Empire is an awesome pearl ball that I had drilled to go long and then turn in the pocket I bowl down and in with not a lot of rev rate. I can use the Pride Empire on the fresh and when the lanes transition which makes the Pride Empire a very usable ball that helps control the pocket carrying the corners. This ball is EXACTLY what I was hoping for when the Empire was announced. A pearl version of the original Pride that hooks as much, but in a cleaner faster version of it. I am able to change to the Empire, from the original Pride when I need something cleaner, and faster and not have to worry about whether this ball is going to force me too far left off of the change. Once I get into this ball, I can keep chasing left and this ball just keeps coming, and continues from obscene angles that you didnt think were possible.
