Now, over a decade later, the legend is back and it’s ready to reclaim the crown.

At the heart of the Primal Rage Evolution is the Impulse V2 core. This is the same core that dominated in the original Primal Rage and Primal Shock. The dual-density, high-RG design creates insane energy retention, giving you explosive power down-lane. With a differential of .050, you’re looking at over five inches of flare potential, plus endless drilling options to fine-tune your setup. This core delivers heat when it matters most.

Wrapped around the Impulse V2 core is the new Propulsion FYJ coverstock recently introduced on the Raptor Rush.  The Propulsion FYJ (Fifteen Year Journey) pearl cover is the pinnacle of fifteen years of pearl research and development.  This is the strongest, most angular shell we’ve ever created - delivering a combination of strength and angularity that’s nothing short of extraordinary.  When combined with the Impulse V2 core, the Primal Rage Evolution delivers power and angularity at astounding levels.

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant Bowlers - The Primal Rage was always a popular choice for angle by speed dominant bowlers because of the dynamic Impulse V2 core.  The slower revving 2.55 rg is great for getting the ball through the front while the .050 diff and massive dual density puck produce wild down lane motion.  The Primal Rage Evolution is resurrecting this motion for speed dominant bowlers looking to create angle when the more rev dominant players are all forced into cleaner and more angular options.
     
  • Balanced Bowlers - For bowlers with rev rates that match their ball speed, the Primal Rage Evolution is the go-to pearl.  The Primal Rage Evolution is a medium oil symmetrical pearl, meaning it will be the most versatile and most often used for many balanced bowlers.
     
  • Rev Dominant Bowlers - Bowlers with substantial rev rates often rely heavily on balls that get through the front of the lane easily, providing enough length when their rev dominance makes so many balls too strong, early, or forward.  The Primal Rage Evolution will give rev dominant bowlers the length they need with a dynamic down lane pop.

    This ball is better than advertised. Very nice angular piece to add to your arsenal. Gets deep down the lane and turns left quickly to the pocket. Hits harder than Mike Tyson in the 80’s. This is a must have in your bag

    The Primal Rage Evolution is an amazing ball to add to your arsenal. I still have an original Primal Rage in great shape. This ball picks up where the OG left off! I find it to be smoother and more consistent than the OG if you can believe that. This ball bridges my jackals to my venoms better than any ball I’ve bridged prior. Definitely a benchmark piece.

    MOTIV comes out with a banger! The primal rage evolution, what amazing performance in this ball. I am a lower rev player, 14mph. It is nice and clean through the fronts and has an amazing motion down lane. This one allows me to move more left and still has monster energy throughout the pins. I love it keep, them coming MOTIV family!

    Primal Rage Evolution Ball Review

    It’s backkkkkk! The Primal Rage Evolution is the newest ball added to the fan favorite Primal line. It has the Propulsion FYJ Pearl Reactive cover that gives you strength and speed, also used in the Raptor Rush. It’s designed for medium/heavy oil patterns and made for when the lanes open up but still a decent amount of volume. The Primal Rage Evolution has the Impulse V2 Symmetric core. The Primal Rage Evolution creates a very angular motion and is great for opening patterns especially when the pattern calls for a quicker/cleaner ball. This ball should fit the spot of the medium oil quick pearl when the earlier balls are giving up. Designed for medium oil conditions, the Primal Rage Evolution is going to be a piece to add for anyone looking for something when the Jackals are too much and need something better to use left to right when they start to break down. This ball has all the hype and I believe it’s going to live up to it!
