Now, over a decade later, the legend is back and it’s ready to reclaim the crown.

At the heart of the Primal Rage Evolution is the Impulse V2 core. This is the same core that dominated in the original Primal Rage and Primal Shock. The dual-density, high-RG design creates insane energy retention, giving you explosive power down-lane. With a differential of .050, you’re looking at over five inches of flare potential, plus endless drilling options to fine-tune your setup. This core delivers heat when it matters most.

Wrapped around the Impulse V2 core is the new Propulsion FYJ coverstock recently introduced on the Raptor Rush.  The Propulsion FYJ (Fifteen Year Journey) pearl cover is the pinnacle of fifteen years of pearl research and development.  This is the strongest, most angular shell we’ve ever created - delivering a combination of strength and angularity that’s nothing short of extraordinary.  When combined with the Impulse V2 core, the Primal Rage Evolution delivers power and angularity at astounding levels.

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant Bowlers - The Primal Rage was always a popular choice for angle by speed dominant bowlers because of the dynamic Impulse V2 core.  The slower revving 2.55 rg is great for getting the ball through the front while the .050 diff and massive dual density puck produce wild down lane motion.  The Primal Rage Evolution is resurrecting this motion for speed dominant bowlers looking to create angle when the more rev dominant players are all forced into cleaner and more angular options.
     
  • Balanced Bowlers - For bowlers with rev rates that match their ball speed, the Primal Rage Evolution is the go-to pearl.  The Primal Rage Evolution is a medium oil symmetrical pearl, meaning it will be the most versatile and most often used for many balanced bowlers.
     
  • Rev Dominant Bowlers - Bowlers with substantial rev rates often rely heavily on balls that get through the front of the lane easily, providing enough length when their rev dominance makes so many balls too strong, early, or forward.  The Primal Rage Evolution will give rev dominant bowlers the length they need with a dynamic down lane pop.

    RED Ball is the King!

    The RED ball is totally smooth and clean down the lanes but strong on backends with nothing but total power to make the pins move like crazy. The V2 core is one of my favorite cores and with the new Propulsion FYJ Coverstock Pearl Reactive you can see all the motion on this ball and the extremely quick response on the lanes when it comes to fiction. I have been able to use this ball on multiple patterns when it comes to mid play.

    Red Ball lives

    The RED ball is easily the cleanest ball I have thrown in a decade. Usually when a ball is super clean it can tend to be over under on most conditions which this ball is not. I can count on the Evolution to see the friction and respond extremely quick to it. With it being super clean the RED ball has the most backend and defined shape out of any Motiv ball that I have thrown. To All the bowlers asking for a skid flip ball the Primal Rage Evolution is the ball for you.

    This thing is a monster.

    I cannot miss left with this thing or it’ll completely blow pass the head pin when it sees friction. That just tells me the FYJ coverstock is doing its job, and WELL. Just means this ball is going to make me get my fundamentals up!
