I love the Ripcord Velocity. I can use it on the fresh and chase it left as the lanes break down. I have been able to play angles that I never have before. It has really opened up my game.

It’s all about angle! This new ripcord is something special. This ball really knows how to come around the corner, whether it’s a short oil pattern or a burned up longer pattern playing steep angles; this balls moves! As for normal house play this ball allows me to play deeper angles starting off far from where everyone else is playing, so I see less transition. Definitely a good ball to have in the bag.

The Ripcord Velocity is the third Ripcord released by Motiv and is by far the fastest one of the three. The original Ripcord matched my game well but at times would not allow me to open up the lane as much as I wanted/needed to. I was very excited when I heard about the Velocity. The Velocity for me is about 3-4 boards stronger than my original Ripcord and also takes surface very well. I hit mine with a 2k pad by hand and it tamed it down and I am able to use it all night at league. If you're looking for a ball to open the lanes up and give you that fast reaction, the Ripcord Velocity is the ball for you.

The Oblivion core has always been a favorite of mine. Starting with the Paranoia series. This core has always seemed to work well regardless of the coverstock. With MOTIV matching it up with the Infusion MVP pearl reactive this ball has been great for me on high friction surfaces. The extremely fast responding cover has really lowed me to open up my angles making this ball a perfect go to after The lanes break down and I can no longer use my Ripcord Flight. I found that the Velocity works great at its out of the box 5500 Grit. I tried taking the surface down to experiment a little bit and found my best reaction with it was at a much shinier surface. You can’t go wrong with the Velocity in your bag!
