From any brand there is no better ball for control than the Subzero. You can hit it as hard as you want and it will not overreact. My favorite ball of all time.

I've had my eye on the Subzero Forge for about a year, dragging my feet and rethinking my strategies until last month, when I finally bought one from my PSO. We've worked out a nice and smooth layout (42 x 4 3/8 x 57) that works pretty well with most balls, so holes were put into the SZF, and in a matter of 27 games in two leagues in different houses, I've averaged 261 in Game 1.
My averages have jumped considerably, and while I should've shot at least three 300s if not for nerves and a bad break, respectively, I did shoot 800 on the dot using the SZF all three games (246, 279, 275). I normally match up well with symmetrical solids, but I never expected to have such an instant and consistent connection with a ball like the SZF. Miss a bit inside? No problem, carries. Swing it a little outside? Don't worry, carries. Just don't accidentally dump it out to the 3 board, it'll labor down lane and you'll shoot 287. Ask me how I know.
Needless to say, I'm gonna need a crate. Might honestly get another and polish it just to see if it works better in Game 3 of league. This one's a real winner, I can't recommend it enough.

This ball has been impressive, it is my first Motiv ball and will not be the last! I was able to throw this ball with great consistency and helped me reach my highest 3 game score to date and has increased my average by almost 10 pins in 3 weeks.
