Bowlers whose revs and ball speed match will use the Subzero Forge on high volumes of oil, fresh patterns, and when control is of the utmost importance. Balanced bowlers who compete in tournaments will love the Subzero Forge for their fresh oil ball on higher volume patterns. Additionally, first shift high volume house shots can be tricky if your ball is not controllable. The Subzero Forge is great in those situations for balanced bowlers.
While balanced and speed dominant players often like to use asymmetrical bowling balls on higher volume and fresh oil patterns, many times rev dominant players struggle with those cores. The Subzero Forge is as strong a ball as a rev dominant player may ever need, with the control of the quick revving symmetrical Detonator core.
Motiv has always had greats products and the Subzero continues that tradition, this ball hits HARD when lined up correctly. I have mine drilled pin down (50 x 4 1/2 x 70) to cut some of the flare off the ball as I live right side and cruise on the second arrow and when I am lined up the Subzero does everything right.
My average has gone up at least 20 pins with this ball and I've been hitting 280+ when paired with the Evoke Hysteria.

This has been the go-to ball in my bag since I drilled it. I am a speed dominant bowler so the earlier roll and continuous backend makes it a great ball for the wet / dry.

This ball is great on all lane conditions if you know how to push it in the mid lane so you can give the ball as much oil as possible, the ball shines in heavy oil though, I'm a brand new bowler, and only started last month and was looking for my first high-end ball, and first game on dry lanes I bowled my new personal best of 200 and next day on wet lane conditions I bowled my first 5 strikes in a row, ball performs great. I had the ball have a lot of pin action and it hooked earlier than my other balls, 10/10 ball would recommend it if looking for a ball for heavier oil

The Forge line has been my favorite ever since I found Motiv. I was skeptical on this one to be honest I didn’t enjoy the Forge Flare so another forge with a super early cover wasn’t on my bingo card. With an open mind I threw it and was blown away on how early it rolled but retained enough energy to go threw the pins properly. It’s the only ball this season I have been able to use all three games in league. Huge credit to Motiv’s R&D team the addition of the Duramax additive must be the secret ingredient to this super strong cover.
