I have the blue/green. This ball has been my go to when the lanes are hooking like crazy. The combination of the clean cover and weaker core have really saved me in some situations. Sometimes my Rip Cord Launch is too much ball and the Top Thrill just get the job done. Don't pass this ball by. Everyone should have this ball in their bag especially for those high friction lane conditions.

Sometimes balls in the light oil category get dismissed as "entry level", but I think that does a disservice to this piece. My entire bowling career, I've struggled when playing close to the friction (two hands with a lot of revs). Most balls I use grab the lane and slow down the second they get anywhere near the 10 board on a house shot, but not my Top Thrill.
Somehow, the combination of the pearlness of the cover and the shine on the surface give this thing just effortless length. If absolutely everything else in your bag is having trouble getting down the lane, try a Top Thrill.
I did a 5-inch pin-to-pap on mine, and admittedly, I would go for a more aggressive layout if I were able to do it again. The Halogen v2 core has enough oomph to get the Top Thrill to move, but it's much more on the smooth/controllable side than it is a snappy pearl. It doesn't snap back from deep, but it's not a Sky Raptor, that's not its job. This is a ball you can stay in your "straighter is greater" zone with for the entire friggin night if you want.

With my other equipment I was in a two game skid, and on my way to having very uneventful night at league. Then I went to my bag for my Top Thrill. To get a once again much needed third game confidence boost. Which allowed me to finish better than I started that night.
If you're looking for that third game savior or a ball that going to hit hard, and gives you all the confidence in the world that this ball will hold target effortlessly when you need it to.
I would totally recommend the Top Thrill to anyone.

This is a great ball for dry lanes or shooting at spares. It has surpassed all my expectations. It is a good ball for beginners all the way to the experienced bowlers. If you don’t have one in your bag, you should definitely add this ball.
