Prepare to conquer the deep with the Trident Abyss.  Merging the Turbulent asymmetric core and a modified Coercion cover, this is the strongest ball ever made by MOTIV® and it is built to dominate in a flood of oil.  Beneath the surface of the Trident Abyss is the Turbulent weight block.  It provides a lower RG, high differential, and strong asymmetry. This combination creates maximum track flare to make the turn in deep oil.  The Coercion HV3 (High Volume 3rd Generation) reactive cover on the Trident Abyss has been modified to dig even harder in heavy oil.  The 2-tone gray solid shell is tuned with a 2000 Grit LSS finish to provide maximum traction. The Trident Abyss is an obvious fit for speed dominant and low rev bowlers looking for more hook.  Competitive bowlers will want to use it to cap off their MOTIV® arsenal with a very strong piece that provides control on heavy oil patterns.

    Love the Abyss with a little polish!

    The Trident Abyss is my favorite go to ball and everybody knows it; it's hard to get it out of my hand! I have this ball drilled with a 3in pin above my ring finger. With this layout and a little polish, the Trident Abyss will store its energy through heads and hook to the pocket in a smooth motion. It doesn't overreact or jump. I highly recommend this ball to a lady bowler who plays up the boards with little hand.

    Trident Abyss

    This ball is advertised as being this ball that would hook in a flood of oil which it can do exactly that but you can also raise cover stock on it so it will handle amazing on the shorter patterns too. The best part of this ball would be the way it knocks down those pins. I am a two handed bowler with a high rev rate who throws the ball about 18 mph, let me just say those pins fly.

    There's no other name to describe this Ball. Definitely one of my secret weapons that I use to get the job done. Trident Very Powerful Tool to take out anything

    Steep hook with great attack angle

    I bought the Abyss in 15lbs. This ball performs exactly as described by Motiv. Reacts well in heavy oil. Breaks late and hard giving a steeper attack on the head pin. I use 15 lbs. to get a little deflection but due to the steep angle of attack, I get a sweeper pin to clean up straggler pins.

    This ball is awesome and moves like you see the pros on TV.

    A++ rating from me.
