Let’s get right to it…the new Trident™ Nemesis is undoubtedly the most angular asymmetric ball ever created by MOTIV®!   It proudly features our latest Infusion™ HV (High Volume) Pearl Reactive cover technology and new Sidewinder™ asymmetric weight block design. Intended for medium-heavy oil conditions, the Trident Nemesis has impressive backend motion and powerful continuation.

The new Sidewinder™ weight block expands the MOTIV® spec range within the asymmetric category making the Trident Nemesis a very attractive ball because of the impending balance hole rule change coming in 2020.  Asymmetry will give ball drillers more influence over ball motion.  The Sidewinder™ design is featured in every Trident™ Nemesis from 16 down to 12 pounds.

The Infusion™ HV Pearl Reactive cover used on this Trident™ is at the forefront of innovation.  With the introduction of Infusion™ Pearl Reactive cover on the Supra™, we saw more angle than ever from a MOTIV® ball.  However, the Supra™ was intended for lighter oil conditions, so the task was to tune an already great cover to handle more oil without sacrificing down lane motion.  After extensive testing, Infusion™ HV was developed. This cover creates more traction in the oil, yet still creates all the angle a bowler could need. 

The Trident Nemesis is impressive on and off the lanes.  The gorgeous Teal Pearl and Black Pearl cover has a polished 5500 Grit LSP finish and utilizes a ball pattern with bold blocks of color. This look is complemented with Silver Pearl and Aqua Pearl NeoMark™ graphics.

    Trident Nemesis

    Great ball to have, just started to bowl again, after many years of not bowling. This is my first ball from Motiv and I couldn't be happier. Now, the family wants to start bowling, once they saw how much FUN this ball made the game for me.

    Trident Nemesis Ball Review

    The Trident Nemesis is Motiv’s newest asymmetrical pearl ball. The Trident Nemesis is fast. Very fast. When you need something as angular as the Supra but are on significantly more volume, that's where this ball thrives. The Trident Nemesis also does very well with surface change. I prefer mine with a little bit of surface/4000 grit. When comparing it to others balls in our lineup, the Trident Nemesis is longer, faster, and a touch weaker overall compared to the Forge Fire. Compared to the Golden Jackal, the Trident Nemesis gets further down lane making it better for playing steeper angles. If you are looking for a piece to get further down lane and play the friction, the Trident Nemesis would be a great grab for your arsenal.

    Trident Nemesis

    The Trident Nemesis is a new pearl from MOTIV featuring the HV Pearl Reactive cover which was also used on the Supra. The core is the new Sidewinder weight block that generates a .049 differential. The teal and black color combo certainly has the most shelf appeal of any ball in our shop. I drilled my Nemesis pin up with no hole which is my go to layout on pretty much everything. This ball is going to allow me to stay to the right with everyone else on PBA patterns in senior regionals as the patterns become wet/dry and the solid balls start to react to soon. For league I’m able to move left and open the lane up with ease. I see the Nemesis being a very versatile piece to have in the bag at all times.

    Best Trident Version yet!!!

    This ball is awesome! For a Med-Heavy Oil Ball, this ball can hit. If you loved the Supra's Infusion cover...you will definitely love the upgraded HV (High Volume) Infusion cover on the Nemesis!

    I love how clean this ball goes through the fronts & mids. The HV Cover allows for a sharp angular back-end, giving any bowler the ability to move through transition and still creating power and reaction through the pins!!

    Review:

    The Trident Nemesis is the latest release from MOTIV Bowling products. This Asymmerical beast is ready to hit the lanes that will gove MOTIV fans that long, angular motion through the pins on medium-heavy oil and to dominate the competition. The Nemesis brings together a brand new core to the MOTIV line, the new Sidewinder and we paired it up with the Infusion HV Pearl Reactive Cover Stock to give the Trident Nemesis a long, angular motion and impressive continuation through the pins on medium-heavy oil conditions. Also with the new Sidewinder core, with the new rule changes going into affect bowlers will have no worries about putting a weight hole because with the shape of the core that worry will go away.

    The Trident line has been a great product line for me over the last couple of years. All of them have brought me success with honor roll scores and tournament success and with the announcement of the Trident Nemesis I was licking my chops to put some holes in this bad boy and I haven’t been disappointed. I love the Nemesis because of the long, angular shape it gives me on the lanes and the hitting power is through the roof. Bowlers of all styles will love this shape because when lanes breakdown, they won’t have to worry about losing the pocket because this ball will still hit from anywhere.

    Likes: Long, angular motion: lots of backend and powerful continuation through the pins.
    Dislikes: None

    I recommend the Trident Nemesis for all types of bowlers
