Once this ball starts hooking too much a great compliment to this ball is the Supra more length with the same continuous motion.

The Trident Nemesis features a brand new asymmetric core combined with a new version of the popular Infusion pearl coverstock that's designed to handle more volume. The result is a ball that will easily skate through the fronts and mids, and then rev up hard, using all that saved energy for a massive corner on the backend. The Trident Nemesis is a great option for bowling looking for a ball for medium-oily fresh conditions and oilier conditions that have broken down somewhat.
The core is extremely versatile and takes well to drilling patterns. Drill it to play straight up the boards and you get a nice ball that stays on line, or drill it for a huge backend angle and move inside to open up the lane. The Nemesis will give you a look that no MOTIV ball has ever produced.
I recently uploaded a YouTube video featuring the Trident Nemesis using two different layouts on two separate balls. Here's the link if you'd like to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KJx0nblbz8

The Trident series has been my favorite Motiv line to date, the Quest was my absolute favorite piece. Let me tell you what, this ball is something special. First night it hit the lanes I went 735. Ball gets through the fronts so well, with a ton of angularity on the backend to punch out those corner pins. The new Sidewinder core paired with the Infusion HV cover is such a great combo that’s going to put up some big scores on a variety of shots. It’s a perfect step up from your Supra and the perfect step down when your Alpha is too strong. I’m expecting huge things from the Nemesis moving forward, well on its way to being one of the best pearls produced in 2020. This is going to be one that every bowler needs in the arsenal. Best company in bowling keeps raising the bar with every release.

The layout I used on the Trident Nemesis is 70x4x20. This bowling ball allows me to really open up my angles. The first night of league I shot 300 and 805 with it! This is a very clean and angular asymmetric ball. Comparing this ball to others, my first comparison is to the Supra. For me, I threw both at the same surface and the Nemesis is about 7 boards stronger than the Supra. My second comparison is to the Alpha Jackal. The Alpha Jackal hooked more overall for me and read the mid-lane a lot sooner. The Trident Nemesis was cleaner and a lot more angular. I believe the Trident Nemesis would be a good ball for when the Alpha Jackal starts to burn up or hook to much in a certain spot on the lane and the Supra is too weak. When seeing the name Trident on the ball, don’t think about the other Tridents. This is a completely different motion.

I love my Nemesis. It’s a versatile ball that I can use on the fresh oil, or after the conditions have been beaten up on towards the end of league. It’s clean and reads the mid lane very well. It drives through the pins and seems to get the corner pins out very well. I have already ordered a second one to put a different layout on it. I feel like it’s a great step down from the Alpha Jackal but it’s also the perfect compliment to the Supra. Well done Motiv, well done!
