I took a few years off from bowling then got back into it about 2 years ago. Finally updated some equipment and purchased this ball and shot a 767 my first series with it. Clean through the fronts and smooth arching. Liked this ball so much I ended up purchasing 2 more Motiv balls to replace the rest of my arsenal.

I drilled my Trident Odyssey to 60x 5 1/2 x 35. This was a test layout for me due to the fact that my val. angles are usually 20-25 & 40-45. I hadn't drilled a ball with a 5 1/2 pin to pap for a few years. I wasn't sure what to expect with this ball from the layout. Once I threw the ball, I was surprised at how early the ball ready on the lane, but it still had the same continuation as everything else in my bag. I took this ball to a tournament no planning for this ball to be my go-to, but because I didn't have a good look on the 38 Melbourne pattern with my tanks. I decided to try this ball at around 8 board and get the ball to 2. This was the best look I had all tournament and I eventually led the tournament at the end, but I came up short in the final match. This ball helps me blend out the tougher patterns when I can't get anything going.

This is my first ball from the Trident line and man did it not disappoint. When there is oil on the lanes this ball has one of the best backend motions I've seen. It's very strong but feels controllable at the same time. Once you find your line this ball can be extremely forgiving as well, rolling just long enough to catch the pocket if you throw it in but can also rev up STRONG if you throw it a little outside. If you need a more angular option for fresh/medium oil patterns this ball will definitely EARN it's way into your bag. I've only had it a few weeks and it's quickly becoming one of my top choices and I've already thrown some big games with it including a recent 289. The Trident Odyssey will impress with how it looks, feels, and performs all the way around.

The Trident Odyssey has quickly earned a spot in my bag. I usually swap out 2 or 3 balls each week but the Trident Odyssey won't be one to leave my bag unless I'm bowling on a short, low volume pattern. My first full game with this ball I shot 300! It's a controllable hook and great for getting reads in the lanes to make adjustments. The power this ball hits the pocket with is uncanny. 5 stars all day!

The new Odyssey has quickly become my new heavier volume love. Even though it’s of the stronger pieces in the line it still gives you that benchmark type reaction on the lane you love to see. I’m very impressed with how smooth and predictable the motion is, making this one of the most trusted balls that come out of the bag on a weekly basis, just never seems to over react and I know exactly what type of look I’m going to have. Of course this new odyssey has some beautiful color variation for bowlers who like to use that for rotation repetition, as well as packing that Motiv bowling punch at the pin deck. Another great add to the ball chart by the best company in bowling.
