The new Villain™ Scorn is just plain vicious.  This asymmetric pearl turns heads and turns sideways on the back of the lane! Engineered for medium-heavy oil, it offers powerful core dynamics and the latest innovation in angular cover technology from MOTIV®.  

The Sinister™ weight block at the core provides the Villain™ Scorn with a higher RG to propel the angular cover down the lane and retain energy.  It also features a higher differential to yield massive track flare for enhanced ball motion.  And, as many have experienced with the original Villain, the asymmetric Sinister design offers great drilling versatility.  

Tuned with a 5000 Grit LSP finish, the pearl Villain™ Scorn features the latest Hexion™ SE Reactive cover technology. This Strength Enhanced (SE) Hexion™ shell provides great length with a fast and deliberate response to friction at the backend of the lane.

    Great ball picked up +40 points on my average

    I love this ball. I drilled the "long track, back end break" finger position. It took a few games and some tweaks of my release, but after that I'm throwing 175 185 games on average. That's a huge jump from my 120-140 average with my old ball.
    Get the ball you'll love it.

    A good surprise

    I came back from a seven year long break and was really confused about what ball I should get. From earlier experiences, my driller told me I could start with Villain Scorn, it would suit me. I had no expectations, but after three trying shots in the first game, I rolled 7 in a row and landed on 247. I have never played that good with a whole new ball before and this one was just what I needed to get back on track quickly. Despite not being a pro in reading lanes or so, this ball is easy to handle with different equations if something is wrong. This one fits for many occasions I think. Really grateful!

    Length when you need it.

    Having transformed from a lefty who threw a 15lb ball 18.5mph with a rev rate above 450, to a one legged righty throwing a 13lb ball about 10.5 with revs not worth measuring, I've found this ball to be a godsend. It allows me to still hit it on my release and still get the length I need to hold the pocket while still finishing strong. It's hard to erase 40 years of muscle memory, so it's nice to find a ball that doesn't force major changes to my release.

    Bowling balls

    I have 3 Motiv bowling balls:
    Recoil, Covert Tank and Hydra, enjoy all 3 balls. Recoil is my go to ball, Hydra is my light oil ball and I use the Covert tank when there is friction on the back end. I have a ball speed of 12-13 mph any suggestions for a typical house shot?
