I had already liked the Villain before this and this ball works wonders. The pearl overstock and 2.54 RG get the ball through the pesky front ends and stores enough energy to kick out those messengers. 2nd game out of box was a 300 and its continued to impress me. I would highly recommend this ball if you are looking for a strong asymmetric pearl.

I was looking for a ball that would give me the ability to play down and in. I like balls that fit in my comfort zone. I have so many balls now I was thinking how the Villain Scorn would fit. When you see these balls online your not really sure by looking at the online picture how the cover is going to look. When I pulled it out of the box I was immediately encouraged buy its beautiful shine. I went with a 40 X 4 x 50 layout so I could get the ball to glide through the front part of the lane. My first impression was that the ball was stronger than anticipate but I seem to get that with a lot of my Motiv choices. This is a great thing because I can get into the ball and not worry about it not making the turn. I made a couple moves left and BOOM I was home. Threw 13 X's out of the next 15 frames. I was able to read the reaction easily and it had a monster hit. Now I have to find room to carry another ball with me. I must look crazy hauling in 12-15 balls around with me but when you like your Motiv's as much as I do how can you blame me. This ball is a can't miss. It provides length without sacrificing hitting power. Don't skip this opportunity.

The Villain Scorn features the same Sinister core as the Villain and the Hexion SE cover. The 2.54 RG really pushes the ball down the lane and the .051 Diff makes sure it comes back from anywhere !! For me it’s very smooth ball which is something I love in a pearl. Let’s me play fairly straight through the heads on fresh and as they open up I can get as deep as I want and still trust it’ll make the corner and kick out the 10 pin ! I usually don’t match up well with asym pearls but this one is different, this is one that I really enjoy throwing !! I keep mine at 2000 with Motiv Power Gel Polish ! I also bowled on a higher volume pattern and used it at 1000 and it’s money for the higher volume ! Ball is available on November 14th get yours TODAY!!!!

When you combine the sinister weight block and the latest innovation in angular cover technology from MOTIV Bowling, a new Villain is born. The Villain Scorn has a higher RG that gets the ball down lane and gives it the ability to store energy. The out of the box 5000 LSP finish along with the Strength Enhanced Hexion cover helps the ball get down lane however for me being speed dominant @ 19mph, I added some surface using a 3000 abralon pad to slow its response through the front part of the lane.
This ball is cleaner through the front part of the lane and quicker to respond to friction on the back part of the lane when comparing to the Rogue Blade. I can see myself using this ball on longer patterns that will need a quick response to friction towards the end of the pattern.

Unlike many dull balls, where the ball reaction can get very lazy down lane and leave a lot of corner pins or even splits. The villain scorn has a great pearl and fast reacting coverstock that compliments the original villain perfectly. What I love about the scorn is how straight I can play with it on a fresh house or sport pattern along with how far left I can move my feet with it so I can keep striking for a long time. The scorn covers reads the drier backends so well for such a clean cover. Anyone who bowls on medium dry lanes or bowls on a older lane surface will love this ball hands down.
