This ball is awesome. Got drilled with pin above ring finger, and it hits like a truck. Has great length, great angle, but not too much of either. Great ball when the lanes start to burn. I pair it with my Golden Jackal.

I cannot believe the abilities of this piece! With the lower RG and DIFF than the Supra, I did not expect this ball to be nearly as angular as it is. While not quite being as angular as the Supra, it also digs significantly harder in the oil giving it a bit more versatility. It digs in medium volumes like crazy, (enough to throw on fresh for some) but responds like a much stronger pearl symmetric on higher volumes as well. If you missed out on the pre-order for this one, do yourself a favor and go find one!

Motiv really hit the nail on the head with these new pearl covers. Every time a new ball comes out, it provides a completely different shape and the VIP ExJ is no exception. This ball for me is a great compliment to the Supra. Works well when there is a touch too much oil for the Supra, but you want to stay in the same zone. It reads the mid lane beautifully and as a result, has a smooth reaction downlane compared to the more angular Supra.

I can not emphasize enough how much everyone should pre order this ball ASAP. I was reluctant about a drilling a medium oil symmetric pearl. I am so glad I did. My only regret is not getting a case of these. I know every one uses terms like house shot killer to loosely, but this is that ball! I have averaged 243 in 5 games with this ball at 2 centers with different shots and surfaces. I usually need to knock some shine off of this type of ball but not this Gem. The VIP gives me length and midlane control with a forward rolling entry into the deck. Usually I loose reaction moving left as I am rev challenged however with this ball i can stay in my comfort zone longer. My moves are less and reaction never gets away from me.
Do yourself a favor and find this gem and order it while you can!

The brand new VIP is one of the best medium oil balls that I’ve ever thrown. The core from the original octane makes this ball strong in the fronts and hooks a lot on the backends. This ball works very well on higher friction sport patterns and league shots. The drilling angles that I used were 40x4.5x35. You will not be disappointed with this ball!!
