Since 2017, the legendary Jackal Ghost has been reigning terror on heavy oil. With paranormal performance, it delivers more total hook potential than any previous Jackal with no loss in continuation. It's scary good! The Predator V2 weight block, first used on the Jackal LE, is now at the core of the Jackal Ghost. Featuring a low RG and loads of differential, this asymmetric design is easy to rev and produces massive track flare.

Combining the physics of the Predator V2 with the chemistry of the new Coercion HFS (High Friction Solid) cover stock, the Jackal Ghost elevates heavy oil performance to a new level. Coercion HFS is the most aggressive cover stock to date on a bowling ball in the Jackal product line. Turned with a 3000 Grit Lss Finish, bowlers will see both excellent mid-lane read and unbelievable continuation.

Obviously the Jackal Ghost will be a go-to ball for bowlers that want to see more hook without sacrificing continuation on higher volumes of oil. It will also be ideal for bowlers that have a low rev rate or higher ball speeds.

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant - For a bowler with high ball speed or those with lower rev rates, the Jackal Ghost serves as an outstanding benchmark option due to the cleaner cover and controllable motion down lane.  The versatility of drilling offered by the Predator V2 also makes the Ghost a great benchmark piece for speed dominant bowlers.
  • Balanced - Players who are balanced in their speed to rev rate ratio find the Ghost to be a must have for fresh oil and longer patterns.  The Jackal Ghost is ideal for balanced bowlers to use in a variety of lower friction environments.
  • Rev Dominant - Over the past several years AJ Johnson and EJ Tackett have proven that the Jackal Ghost is a must have for the rev dominant player.  Due to the coverstock being moderately clean, a rev dominant player is able to use the Jackal Ghost without worrying about it “burning up” or getting too forward down lane like so many heavy oil asymmetrical balls

    Some classics never die

The Jackal Ghost has survived for over a decade for a reason. It's ghostly good!
The Ghost is an excellent benchmark ball that's easy to control and very forgiving when you miss your mark.
I can easily see the Ghost fitting into almost any arsenal whether it's a sport or typical house shot pattern.
The Ghost was my next Motiv purchase after I bought the Venom Black and Top Thrill Hybrid. I rounded off my Motiv arsenal with the Revolt Uprising Limited Edition.

    THE GOAT! SIMPLY MIND BLOWING!

I recently picked up the Jackal Ghost knowing it is a legend and after watching 100's of reviews on it. I have no idea what took me so long to get it. This ball immediately became my favorite ball in my arsenal. It is not even close. I took it straight from being drilled to league and shot my best series (733) right out of the box with a high game of 267. I was able to use it from every zone and I did not have to make a ball change. I don't know what magic mojo Motiv did to create a ball this good. Please Motiv, do not ever take this ball out of tour line-up! It is so good I am going to be ordering a second one.

First ball purchase ever and I'm sold to Motiv

I started bowling Ocotber 2023 and was looking for my first ball. Motivs performance, marketing and visuals on their products immediately caught my attention. I wanted something for heavy oil so I chose the Jackal Ghost. I started playing a little straighter until I got used to the shape of this ball down lane, even after moving far left, with some hand adjustments this ball can find the pocket for me almost any where I can throw it. It pairs well with Villian Scorn, I can't wait to build a full Motiv arsenal with my Ghost at its core. Even after a few hundred games the performance is as strong as ever, I look forward to many more years with the Ghost.

    Legend

There are multiple reasons this ball has been in the current lineup for so many years. It is very versatile for being a big asymmetric ball. I mainly use it on house shots, but it's valuable and offers a consistent read on sport conditions as well. The carry is the difference maker for me. Light hits, high hits, it carries as well as anything I've ever thrown. Overall, this one is a winner.

    Jackal Ghost the GOAT

I recently bought the newer version of the Jackal had it drilled so it would skid flip for the heavier oil patterns of my local house. Used out of the box surface for the first night. As a tweener the ball worked as I asked my proshop professional to layout the ball as I thought I needed it to react to the lane conditions. As the ball left my hand it skidded though my target (13 board) to read the friction around the 8th board at 40 feet, the ball reacted to the friction and entered the pin deck on the 18th board. Games for the night, Ghost 222, moving left 228, then lanes condition changed I used my Mystic 226 for a 676 series. I have always used my Ghost old as my first ball of the night, now I can use the new Ghost which in my opinion is the GOAT of bowling balls, thank you Motiv.
