The new solid purple Venom Shock produces a violent reaction on light to medium oil conditions.  It attacks the lane with the proven Gear™ weight block and new cover technology – Turmoil™ MFS (Medium Friction Solid) Reactive, which is a modified version of the more aggressive shell featured on the Covert Revolt.  This core and cover combination provides a smooth yet angular backend motion that strikes with devastating continuation.   

As far as shelf appeal, the Venom Shock does not disappoint.  The vibrant orange logo really pops off the purple shell.  And, for those that are into glow-in-the-dark bowling, the logos on the ball glow orange and green. 

The Venom Shock really does have it all – performance, looks, and a great price point.  The most shocking thing about this ball may be that you get such outstanding performance at such an affordable price! 

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant - Bowlers with higher speeds or moderate speed paired with lower rev rates, the Venom Shock is a great option for control in higher friction environments. Late in league nights or on low volume patterns, the Venom Shock shines for speed dominant bowlers.   
  • Balanced - For the balanced bowler the Venom Shock is an absolute must have in the middle of their arsenal.  Balanced bowlers will find that the versatility of the shock allows it to be used in many different volumes and lengths of oil from dry lanes to moderately high volumes of oil.  An added bonus for bowlers who love the Venom Shock is how well it responds to surface changes.  
  • Rev Dominant - Those with revs to spare can use the Venom Shock in many volumes of oil and see outstanding down lane continuation for a ball that is conventionally thought of as a control ball.  A shiny Venom Shock is a staple in the bag of many PBA Touring players who want to create some angle without sacrificing control in later transition.

    Oldy but a goody!

    Very good ball for any lane condition out there. I've put surface on it for wet lanes and it works great, and I've also polished it for super dry lanes and it's amazing. I bought a used one a while ago that's been drilled 2 times so I've been tempted to buy another one!

    This ball is amazing!!! I have other balls but yet I always come back to this ball. It’s my bread and butter. My Ole Reliable. I’ve been throwing this ball for almost 2 years and it’s still a gangster. I just smashes the pocket when I throw it right. I love it!

    Venom Shock

    I bowl on wood lanes, that tend to be very wet dry, especially when playing right, and this ball with a 2000 grit blends that from a little farther right. Once this ball gets to be a little too clean I can ball up to a strong cover asym.

    Outstanding predictable ball

    The Venom Shock isn't flashy, but is without a doubt one of the most consistent and predictable balls on the market. This is my second one and it's better than the first. My first game was a 279 on house shot up 10 board at arrows, which is exactly where I want to play. I had to change balls as I moved left, since low diff balls are not my friend going left, but not the balls fault. I will always have Shock in the bag.
