Over the past several years AJ Johnson and EJ Tackett have proven that the Jackal Ghost is a must have for the rev dominant player. Due to the coverstock being moderately clean, a rev dominant player is able to use the Jackal Ghost without worrying about it “burning up” or getting too forward down lane like so many heavy oil asymmetrical balls. There are multiple reasons this ball has been in the current lineup for so many years. It is very versatile for being a big asymmetric ball. I mainly use it on house shots, but it's valuable and offers a consistent read on sport conditions as well. The carry is the difference maker for me. Light hits, high hits, it carries as well as anything I've ever thrown. Overall, this one is a winner.

For me it's perfect for the houses I bowl at, where the lane surfaces are worn. The Ghost cover is just strong enough yet not too strong. The Ghost saves enough energy to carry the rack quite often and is very predictable for me on house shots.
It works well on certain sport patterns, like long patterns, but it harder to use on short patterns, where I think I will get a urethane ball instead.
I paired the Ghost with a Primal Ghost for a fantastic combo to play off each other in normal conditions, no regrets on both purchases.
