Bowlers with higher speeds or moderate speed paired with lower rev rates, the Venom Shock is a great option for control in higher friction environments. Late in league nights or on low volume patterns, the Venom Shock shines for speed dominant bowlers.
For the balanced bowler the Venom Shock is an absolute must have in the middle of their arsenal. At first i was skeptical about how much control I would have. This ball does not disappoint. I can hit the pocket easily even when my aim is slightly off. Great ball, a must have in any arsenal. Great for beginners and pros alike.

Literally the best Venom ball! I would recommend this ball to anyone in the market for a ball. Hands down the most versatile in my opinion. Will always have a slot in my bag! Colors are also fantastic!

As a low-rev guy, I used to operate under the notion that I only needed balls at the top end of Motiv's chart to have success. About 2 years ago, I was averaging ~215. I finally decided to try out a Venom Shock. I'd seen all the hype about it, it's track record on Tour, longevity, etc.
The first time I threw it, I started kicking myself for not buying one sooner. This ball looks good at any center I'm in for leagues or tournaments. I'm now averaging close to 230. I've always matched up well with Motiv balls (10 years running!), but this ball makes me look like an entirely different bowler.
It's my benchmark ball and I'm currently pairing it with the Black Venom for a nice 1-2 punch.
This ball punches way above its weight and deservedly gets the GOAT title.
