Bowlers with higher speeds or moderate speed paired with lower rev rates, the Venom Shock is a great option for control in higher friction environments. Late in league nights or on low volume patterns, the Venom Shock shines for speed dominant bowlers.

I have owned three of these now. It's by far the most versatile ball in the Motiv line up. If you are just starting to get into the "pro" balls, this should be your first. If you have been buying motiv balls and don't own this ball, GO BUY IT. if you bowl fast and up the back, this ball will turn over on its own. If you really rip on this ball, it will play on any pattern, with the absolute most consistency I've ever had out of any ball.

In 2018 I got my first Motiv, the Jackal Ghost. Since that year I have not and never will throw anything other than Motiv. The whole line is so versatile and strong I would be silly to throw anything else. Well I figured since it's one of the longest running balls on the market I should probably get one of these Venom Shocks. (It's popular for a reason) It did not disappoint. The ball is so versatile. Ended up shooting 815 my 3rd night running league with it. Whether you're an experienced vet or brand new to bowling, the Venom Shock will be a go to for anyone looking at a new ball for years to come!

I have always been a die hard Storm ball user and bought a Venom on a whim to give Motiv a try. Best change ever not sure if it’s the core or the cover but my scores have improved tremendously. Already looking for my next ball to complement this ball.

The Venom Shock was the first ball I ever bought and it is by far at the very top of the list of great bowling balls. I find it to be very versatile, and easy to control. If you're a beginner I highly recommend you get this ball because you won't be sorry.
