The Max Thrill Pearl will function as the end of the progression for a speed dominant bowler; meaning this will be the ball used for the driest lanes when angle is needed down lane. Speed dominant bowlers will have a ball they can trust at the end of a long qualifying block or when the lanes are truly dry.
Balanced bowlers will be amazed at the performance of the Max Thrill when looking for angle on dryer lanes. The Max Thrill Pearl is a significantly stronger down-lane option than the Top Thrill. Competitive bowlers will be able to trust the Max Thrill Pearl late in tournament blocks.

Wow I picked this ball up looking for something on the weaker side for when my house is dried up in the heads and looking for something to get thru clean and have some back end pop. This ball did just that. I through a 16lbs and it works great for later games. Highly recommend this one don't get scared off by the price point or entry level tag.

I purchased this ball in hopes that it would be my designated spare ball (I can't throw a Plastic ball for the life of me) I called down to Motiv and spoke with Nick Pahr, asked for recommendations (after explaining how I bowl and what I wanted the ball to do) He gave a layout that I wasn't sure about, but I trusted his advice. This ball is amazing on our extremely dry (as in Arizona Desert Dry) lanes. It may not be the best choice for a spare ball, but it does good. Where it excels in when the lanes are transitioning and when they're plainly just burned up! This ball is amazing!!! When the stronger balls are too much, (for our lanes this happens by the end of game one gets worse during game two and just plain ugly by game three) I just pull out my Blue and Yellow Max Thrill Pearl and it ignores the lane conditions and effortlessly finds the pocket over and over again! It's always in my bag and I do not leave home without it!

I wanted a ball I could play more down-and-in on a fresh house shot. I’m one of 3 lefty’s on my team so I try to stay outside of them. With the Max Thrill Pearl, when they carry down, I can still bump inside and bank it off the dry. It's a great ball for house shots for sure. This is my first MOTIV ball.
