At the center of the Nebula is the brand-new Hadron Core—our first dual-density core in over 8 years. This new symmetrical core was worth the wait, generating incredible energy retention for an explosive backend motion. This new addition is intended to be the most versatile dual density core in the Motiv line while still providing the trademark dual density flip down lane. And the high-density flip block at the bottom of the core fuels explosive reaction to new levels!
Wrapped around the Nebula is new Dark Matter Propulsion Pearl - the sharpest, cleanest, and most angular coverstock MOTIV has EVER created. Every single adjustment to Propulsion tech was made with one outcome in mind: faster backend reaction. Even the cosmic-black color choice and pearl additive were made solely to maximize angularity. As a result, the Dark Matter Propulsion cover is cleaner and more reactive than any Propulsion technology prior. This cover is pure rocket fuel.
For bowlers with higher ball speed and/or lower rev rates, the Nebula will likely serve as an angular ball best used on friction. Speed dominant bowlers require more friction than most, so rather than being a medium oil pearl, the Nebula will likely serve as a medium-dry to dry lane solution when the bowler needs angle.
Bowlers with balanced speed/rev rate ratios will love the Nebula late in league night, late in tournament squads, on lighter oil patterns, and often high friction surfaces. When friction is present and angle through the front of the lane is necessary, the Nebula will be an outstanding solution.
Crankers will love the Nebula for many situations ranging from medium-heavy oil to medium-dry when they want to see back end motion. Our bowling center and Motiv held a test drive for the newer balls and this is one I fell in love with right away. I don't have the speed or revs, but this ball worked perfectly for me. It was drilled for me yesterday right before league started. I used it for a few frames towards the end of game 1 and the control and feel of the ball felt great, so I decided to use it all of game 2 and shot my first 300. This is most definitely my favorite ball in my arsenal.

Bought my Nebula this past Wednesday after being cleared to bowl after my surgery. Threw it three games on league thursday loved the motion!

For those bowlers that are reluctant to change balls when the lanes transition and start to break down after the first game they must buy this ball. I purchased the Nebula after its release and it was easy for me to adapt to on the lanes. I am a low rev balanced forward bowler. The Nebula has a nice consistent forward roll down the lane. It rolls smoothly down the front end of lane, does not wiggle, reaches the break point picks up speed, turns to pocket, and explodes the pins. It does have the tendency to turn a little early to the pocket at times. it is an angular ball reading the lane, so with just a little lift depending lanes, I have learned to overcome this earlinesses. Some of my league friends have checked the ball out and likes how it reacts to lane transition. Finally, I was having trouble with consistency of scores. My first game was normally high, but my scores steadily decreased during the 2nd and 3rd games. Now I do not have those issues. I inceeased my average from 140 to 162, a 22 pin increase because I have a ball that transitions for me and gives me greater command of the lanes. GO MOTIV OUTSTANDING JOB.

I was able to use the Nebula from start to finish during my 4-person league on 1/29/26 -- starting with a 300 game and coming within a wobbly 4-pin of shooting an 800 series. Games were 300-224-268. Needed to move left to stay ahead of the transition -- enabling the Nebula to keep hitting the pocket with its full force.
