Many speed dominant bowlers love the Jackal Ghost, so adding a ball to compliment it when the lanes start to get dry makes so much sense. The Primal Ghost is a simple and easy ball down from the Jackal Ghost. Additionally, it should be a great benchmark for speed dominant bowlers on moderate to moderate-dry lane conditions.
For people who are balanced in their speed to rev rate ratio, the Primal Ghost will be a great option for the middle of their bag. With a smooth, moderately strong coverstock and a higher rg core, the Primal Ghost shouldn’t get started too early while providing a smooth down lane motion. The Primal Ghost is an earlier and smoother motion than that of the Primal Shock.
Those with the most revs and/or lowest speed will benefit greatly from the combination of a high rg core with a smooth coverstock. For many rev dominant bowlers, the Primal Ghost will work well as a first ball out of the bag on a typical house shot or moderate volume league pattern.
I have thrown a 16 pound ball for 30 plus years. I have been away from bowling consistently for quite some years. So, when I went back to throwing my tank of a ball I knew it was time for a change. I have to come down in weight and Motiv Primal Ghost allowed me to do just that. I purchased a 13 pounder with no lost in differential. The hooks are strong and fun to learn to read and the cover and weight make 10 pin pickups routine! Nice job Motiv!!!

I have both the Jackal Ghost and the Primal Rage Evolution and the Primal Ghost is truly a fantastic combo of both. Super smooth motion and my new go to medium oil ball. It filled that gap in my bag and I couldn’t be happier with it.

I'm beyond pleased with this ball so far. Just the right amount of back end snap on medium lane conditions. Finally came back to Motiv after a long stint using Storm equipment, very very happy to be back in the Motiv camp!

The Primal series has always been a favorite of mine! I own the Primal Shock and the Primal Rage Evolution and now the Primal Ghost. The Primal Ghost easily replaces my Primal Shock in my bag and is my new favorite at the moment. The Primal Ghost still has the backend like all the primal balls do, but with putting the Ghost cover on it makes it more smooth. My first game throwing the Primal Ghost was a 300 game! This ball is the first ball I have ever done that with. This is a great ball for the middle of your bag. If you like any of the other primal balls, go out and get a Primal Ghost. You won’t regret it!
