The Blue Coral Venom™ is the first ever hybrid asymmetric found in the 10-year history of the Venom™ line. The latest stage of evolution in the wildly successful Venom™ line, the Blue Coral Venom™ focuses on versatility and benchmark reaction for moderately high friction surfaces. An upgrade to the Venom™ Recoil, the Blue Coral Venom™ provides more traction in the oil with a stronger and more continuous down lane motion.

With the Coercion™ MFH Reactive cover, the Motiv Blue Coral Venom™ provides plenty of length through the front of the lane, while picking up in the middle of the lane with a smooth and controllable transition. This hybrid cover is remarkable thanks to its ability to provide traction in the oil, without sacrificing control down lane. This performance provides the strength and incredible versatility that the Venom™ line is known for.

Versatility is also what makes the Gear™ APG core special.  Its low differential and asymmetry allow the Blue Coral Venom™ bowling ball to attack the pins from shallower angles using a more aggressive cover stock.  Originally deployed because weight holes were being eliminated, the slight asymmetry of this core gives ball drillers more options than a typical symmetric design.

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant Bowlers: For speed dominant bowlers, this will be a medium dry lane ball for use at shallow angles.  While many balls for medium-dry to dry lanes tend to skip past the break point for speed dominant bowlers, the high performance coverstock on the Blue Coral Venom™ will have no trouble gripping the lane.  Additionally, the Gear™ APG core allows players who like to play straighter to do so with more ease.  This should be a great ball for speed dominant players to play more direct on fairly dry lanes.

  • Balanced Bowlers:  Bowlers with speed and rev rate that match will find many uses for the Blue Coral Venom™, due to the versatility it offers.  This Venom™ has more traction in the oil than any before it.  The Blue Coral Venom™ has more traction in oil than the Venom™ Shock, and offers much more control than the Fatal Venom™.  Balanced bowlers will be able to use the Blue Coral Venom™ from a variety of angles on medium to medium-dry lanes when other Venoms™ can’t dig in the oil, but other high performance balls are just too strong.

  • Rev Dominant Bowlers:  For rev dominant bowlers the Blue Coral Venom™ is a perfect benchmark ball.  Due to lower speed or higher rev rates, players of this classification often need to “ball down” from what balanced or speed dominant bowlers would use.  While the Blue Coral Venom™ is classified as a medium-dry oil ball, for those who are rev dominant it is a benchmark that offers moderately clean and controllable ball motion.

Here at Motiv Bowling, we want you to excel when you step out on the lane, and there’s no better way to do that than by using one of our high-quality, high-performance bowling balls. Whether you’re just starting out or have been a bowling pro for years, we’re sure to have something that’s right for you and your skill level!

    Very mutch an benchmark ball!

After having to throw the Odyssey and the Legacy my 3rd ball is the Coral Venom! And OMG! It's fun! I was not expecting it to hook so much down lane when the patterns was more played on, I could easily go down to this one when the other two grip too early!

I DONT KNOW what Motiv did to the coverstock But it's an homerun for sure! I drilled mine with a pin up version so it have a more hockey stick motion and that motion om that ball i fell in love with! Really have saved me on the lanes when i need to step down from my other heavier oil balls!

But fast the most fun with it its the core! Weaker then the heavier oil balls BUT still goes threw the pins good! And its a ball u dont have to throw hard to get good motion! It just was the biggest suprise How Well round it was for me on different patterns! But Ofc i use it more on short patterns or played up oil patterns most! There it really shines!

If u havent got one yet i highly recommend u pick on up and go for it! U Will not get disappointed!

    Stay MOTIVated my friends!

    Lethal Ball Reaction!

Motiv has knocked it out of the park again with the Blue Coral Venom! If you’re a fan of the OG Shock, you’re going to love this release. The hybrid cover and asymmetric Gear core combination digs in the oil and provides great continuation, allowing for a versatile use on many conditions. This is going to be another must have in my tournament bag.

Blue Coral Venom is Lights Out Awesome!

The Coral Venom is the newest in my arsenal and sits at the top of my 6-ball roller.
Mine is drilled up to be quite angular and compliments my Pin-Down Venom Shock.
On a standard house shot I can get pretty far left and trust it will make the turn down lane when I swing it out right, and gives me several paths to the pocket. In fact I can throw it and the Shock targeting the same mark, and they will both end up the close to the same place, but just take slightly different paths/angles getting there.

I really think everyone should have this one in their bag, just as I say about the Shock.

This ball is amazing! I'm mind-blown and in love with this new Venom!

Gives the Shock a run for its money!

Given the massive popularity of not only the Venom Recoil, but the Venom line in general, I had really high hopes for this one. The Blue Coral Venom or BCV for short, has easily become a top 2 Venom of all time for me, with the Shock being the other of the two. I can't truly decide which one I like more as the Shock has truly stood the test of time, but the BCV is insanely close. Even though I find them both to be absolutely amazing, I do find they have differences which makes me comfortable taking both to league or a tournament. The Shock is a bit rounder for me (layout is 60x5x30) and definitely reads earlier, while the BCV (layout is 70x5x30) is a bit cleaner and very responsive downlane. The BCV is the perfect step up from the Fatal Venom if it's too clean, and a perfect step down from the Shock if it's too round or too early. If you have a need for a mid-level, quicker responding ball, or if you just really enjoy the Venom line in general, this is not one you want to skip out on!

    A must have

This ball has become a must have in my bag great for light volume house shots and killer as the lanes open up this ball delivers fatality to the pins when it hits keeping pins low and allowing the best opportunity to carry.
