Just like a predator in the wilderness, the Crimson Jackal thrives on two critical factors: lightning speed and unmatched agility.  The Crimson Jackal emerges as the apex predator on the lanes, boasting an unprecedented ability to change directions in the blink of an eye and respond to friction faster than any Jackal before.  The Crimson Jackal is a predator with a killer instinct like no other.

We’ve conquered the challenge of creating a coverstock that delivers lightning-fast response in a heavy oil environment with new Propulsion HV+ cover technology.  The strongest Propulsion shell to date, Propulsion HV+ takes performance to the next level.  When paired with the Predator V2 core, this shell guarantees bowlers can wield this monster core even when attacking the lanes at steep angles.

Powering the Crimson Jackal is the Predator V2, a legend in its own right and a dynamic powerhouse.  Previously seen in other great Jackals such as the Jackal Ghost; this fast revving and huge flaring, asymmetric beast is designed to be the strongest core in any bowler’s bag.  Be prepared to dominate the lanes with this force of nature!

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant Bowlers - For bowlers with more ball speed and lower rpm, the Crimson Jackal is a pearl that can be trusted to create angle and shape when other pearls would be too weak to get started or get around the corner.
  • Balanced Bowlers - For balanced bowlers the Crimson Jackal will be the first pearl out of the bag and should allow for steeper angles earlier in blocks.  When other angular balls just seem to get too far down lane before making their move, the Crimson Jackal with the Predator V2 core should provide more mid-lane stability while the Propulsion HV+ cover gives great down lane pop.
  • Rev Dominant Bowlers - For the bowlers with the lowest speed and/or the highest rev rate the Crimson Jackal gives them an asymmetrical core option that is clean enough through the front of the lane.  So many rev dominant bowlers are forced out of asymmetric cores because they are fast revving and early.  The Crimson Jackal is clean and angular, allowing rev dominant bowlers to use it when there is lower friction, but they want a big pearl asym.

    Aggressive Ball

This is my first Motiv product and I have to say the CRIMSON JACKAL is a great ball to have in your bag. It’s very aggressive and great first game ball to start with. The color is nice and I like the light decal on the outside, truly an eye catcher as I got a lot of compliments my first time using it. If you need a strong ball on wet condition lanes, this is it.

Favorite Jackals are always pearl Jackals

Some of my best series, and tournament finishes were with the Golden Jackal and Jackal Flash.
Very happy to finally have another pearl Jackal in the bag and am loving the new colors and look of the Crimson Jackal.

As far as performance, as expected, the Crimson Jackal lives up to the line it gets its name from. It's everything you need from a pearl, but it can also handle some serious oil volume. This ball is crazy clean, and unbelievably fast off the spot. When you need to create some angle down lane, nothing is going to beat this ball!

This is Exactly what I was missing

The Apex Predator is Back and this time in a Pearl that is crazy angular good. For anybody that knows my game personally - you know I love a good Pearl Asym and this Ball fits that bill and then some.

Stand Left, Throw Right and Watch it Rip back to the Pocket and Shred the Pins. It's clean but not so clean that it misses the spot and when it sees the spot, it's splitting the 8-9 thru the back of the pin deck.

You need to grab this one and expect it to be that perfect cleaner ball to grab when the Raptor Fury is just a touch early or at least that's how I'm seeing it in my bag,

    Crimson Jackal!!

    Hand: Right-Handed
    Ball Weight: 15 lbs.
    Rev Rate: 500 RPM
    Ball Speed: 18 Mph
    Tilt: 10
    Rotation: 45
PAP: 5.125” over and .125” up
    Layout: 55 x 5 ½ x 30 (Dual Angle)

The newest Crimson Jackal features the new Propulsion HV+ cover stock. This new cover is super-fast responding even in heavier oil conditions. The proven Predator V2 core is the motor that drives this ball with incredible continuation and power when entering the pin deck. On house patterns the Crimson Jackal picks up in the mid-lane but continues to get further down the lane without losing energy. On sport patterns I can play closer to the friction and keep my angles tight. With drilling the Crimson Jackal slightly weaker for me it’s more versatile. The Crimson Jackal will be in my league bag and in my tournament bag for a long time.

Awesome Ball, but not Crimson in color

Ball has a great backend pop. Something I wanted in a new ball. I love the versatility, it comes in strong from different marks as the lane breaks down. I'm a balanced bowler and the ball reacts just as advertised.
My only complaint is the color was different than expected. Crimson is a deep dark red, and that is what color I was expecting. Everything I saw when researching, showed that color. Upon receiving it, it says Crimson/Berry which gives it more of a pinkish color. I was expecting a richer darker version of the Raptor Fury.
Color isn't a deal breaker at all. Especially with the way this ball reacts. It is definitely as advertised. I just wanted others to know the actual color.
