I’ve been throwing Hammer products for 20+ years faithfully and decided to switch it up, with the Evoke out of nowhere. I couldn’t be anymore happier.

After having the Evoke for a couple of months and having thrown it in 2 different leagues, I feel I can give it an honest review. First, this ball needs some oil. When the volume is there, this ball reads the midlane very well and slowly rounds to a roll and crushes the pocket. When the lanes are a little dryer, it reads really early and sits. This gives me an opportunity to adjust hand position and speed to really get some good pin action. If you bowl in the right conditions, this ball is great!

I recently bought an Evoke bowling ball. What a difference it has made I bowl in three different leagues in which one of them is a 9tap tour held at a different house each week. The oil pattern is also changed each week. I have found my new Evoke handles these new patterns better than my other three balls combined. I’ve been in the cash three out of the last four tournaments. My league bowling has also improved considerably. I carry a 188 average with the Evoke ball since I’ve gotten it. I was carrying a 183 average. I’d recommend the new Evoke to any bowler looking for a change.

Was hoping to replace a well-used and much appreciated Trident Odyssey and was not disappointed. On house patterns with a cliff or ridge of oil, not only does the new Leverage MXC Solid Reactive cover help limit overreaction off the dry, but the Overload core increases the difference between what Motiv balls have had for some time. That is a noticeable difference between pin up and pin down reactions. Plus, it has great shelf appeal helping pro shops sell it. 60x5x40 layout, 4.5x0pap, 265rpm, 15mph

I don't get along with solid asymmetrical balls AT ALL. However, this ball is excellent in the early blocks. Typically I get too much reaction out of the solid cover stocks with asymmetrical balls, but Motiv did an excellent job with this ball, for me. It doesn't work very well on later blocks, like it doesn't have enough energy to make cleanly back to the pocket when I have to get FAR left. But up until that point, the shape and result are as consistent as I am, if I stay consistent.
