Fatal Venom

The Fatal Venom™ provides a deadly combination of length with an angular strike on light-medium oil conditions.  It features the latest MOTIV® cover technology and the outstanding original Gear™ core from the Venom™ Shock.

The Gear™ core gives the Fatal Venom™ both low RG and low differential so it spins super-fast with minimal track flare.  The result is a stable ball motion with massive energy retention.

Utilizing the latest Infusion™ Pearl Reactive cover, the Fatal Venom™ offers great length and angularity. These traction characteristics joined with the control of the Gear™ core provide a clean and moderately angular motion that is ideal for scoring on drier lanes.

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant: For straighter angles on moderately dry lanes.  The Gear core and Infusion combo will allow the bowler to use the pearl to clear the front without sacrificing control down lane.
  • Balanced: A great dry lane benchmark piece.  If you know that there is not a lot of volume on the lane or the lane surface is higher friction, this will be a great first ball out of the bag.
  • Rev Dominant: When the most angular balls in the product line are too much down lane, the Fatal Venom will be the go-to option.

Update -- Fatal Venom strikes for 772 Series

This is an update to my post from Nov. 30. I asked my pro shop owner to tweak the cover from the 5500 LSP box finish to 3000 dull because I was looking for a bit less of an angular shape for the particular house shot that I compete on. The results were nothing short of spectacular -- 276-227 (with three stone 10 pins)-269--772, using the Fatal Venom from start to finish as was the plan going into the night. I had to move only about three boards left through the course of three games in the triples league. The ball was smooth, made enough of a turn when in the oil a bit too long and hit like a ton of bricks. This ball is a must for all bowlers' arsenals.

    Venom Line Doesnt Dissapoint!

FATAL! exactly what this ball is! LOVE This ball, it is so easy to transition to when the lanes breakdown or on a light oil condition. The Perfect Pearl

The brand new Fatal Venom is a piece that is perfect for every bowler. Time and time again the Venom line has proven itself as a staple in a lot of bowlers' arsenals. The Fatal Venom is equipped with arguably the best pearl cover stock that has ever released in the Infusion Pearl. The dominance the Gear core has seen mixed with this incredible cover, it could be defined as thee perfect pearl benchmark ball for every bowler. I know that wherever I’m bowling and on any pattern I may see at a league or a tournament, I know the Fatal Venom could be used at any time. This core/cover combination provides me with the confidence to have a great consistent reaction and be able to be utilized at any given moment. If you want to have confidence and use one of the greatest benchmark balls ever created, the Fatal Venom is for you.

The Fatal Venom is good for dryer lane conditions. I use this ball when the lanes get dry and I can play straighter with it and still get a good reaction down lane because the ball is clean through the front part of the lane and you still get a consistent reaction down lane.

Oh look it’s going in the gutter...nope look out pocket here I come

This ball is very versatile. As a high rev player I found the ball very easy to control and even when I missed right and thought it was going in the gutter the ball read the friction and hooked up. Mine is layed out 5x4x4 1/2 using my axis. Completely happy really good 1-2 punch to complement the original Venom Shock. If your expecting a clean pearl with good motion through the pins I would recommend this above quite a few other balls. Hope this review helps and enjoy.
