The Fatal Venom™ provides a deadly combination of length with an angular strike on light-medium oil conditions.  It features the latest MOTIV® cover technology and the outstanding original Gear™ core from the Venom™ Shock.

The Gear™ core gives the Fatal Venom™ both low RG and low differential so it spins super-fast with minimal track flare.  The result is a stable ball motion with massive energy retention. 

Utilizing the latest Infusion™ Pearl Reactive cover, the Fatal Venom™ offers great length and angularity. These traction characteristics joined with the control of the Gear™ core provide a clean and moderately angular motion that is ideal for scoring on drier lanes. 

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant: For straighter angles on moderately dry lanes.  The Gear core and Infusion combo will allow the bowler to use the pearl to clear the front without sacrificing control down lane.
  • Balanced: A great dry lane benchmark piece.  If you know that there is not a lot of volume on the lane or the lane surface is higher friction, this will be a great first ball out of the bag.
  • Rev Dominant: When the most angular balls in the product line are too much down lane, the Fatal Venom will be the go-to option.

    Rectifying a Fatal Mistake

    I got this ball on release and had it drilled pin DOWN. I could never really find a spot for it in my bag and honestly it sat in my home for some time.

    I had it redrilled pin UP in order to give it some minutes during summer league and it has been a revelation. Once the lanes have started to transition I'm able to take a big move left and have confidence it was still going to make a move and have plenty of energy once it hits the friction.

    This ball is awesome

    I bought the Fatal Venom because I read tons of great things about the Venom line. This is the first ball I’ve bought from the Venom line and liked it enough that I’m going to be buying the Blue Coral Venom or the Black Venom. I 100% would recommend this ball or the Venom line to anyone knowing that they would be satisfied with the performance of all the balls from this line.

    This Ball got me on TV!

    Hi,
    I might only be 5 years old (my mom is helping me write this since I can’t type yet) but the Venom is one of my top 3 favorite Motiv balls. At 12 pounds this beauty seemed full of Venom which is super cool at my age. It is amazing! It is my go to ball when I bowled a 228. It almost always knocks down the 10 pin when it’s left standing.     This Ball helped me become really good. I promised my parents if they bought it for me I’d get a 300. I can get 5 strikes in a row so I’m on my way. This ball is my favorite and helps me get so many strikes.

    I needed a new ball

    As my title states, I’m a former league bowler going from youth league to adult league then to no league. I stopped league bowling about 20 years ago because I was getting older, got married, new house and kids. League bowling was no longer on my budget, then to make matters worse, I fell sick due to having Sickle Cell disease which caused me to have multiple strokes. I could not walk for 2-1/2 years and was confined to a wheelchair. I had given up on bowling because although I took multiple years of physical therapy, I regained my ability to walk again, but, I lacked range of motion and could no longer throw my ball will finesse like I used to. One issue was the lack of range of motion, then my ball was outdated and old.

    After speaking to an old bowling buddy of mine, we decided to go bowling after not bowling for many years and although my equipment is old, I felt the rush and decided that I need to get back to the lanes. After I left the bowling alley that evening, I called my my little brother and told him that I needed his advice on which bowling ball I needed to purchase. He recommended that Motiv Venom and needless to say, my game has improved significantly and I am a Motiv Venom enthusiast. The way that my ball glides down the lane and hits the pocket is a sight to see. Best decision I’ve made and looking forward to adding more to my collection.
