Fatal Venom

The Fatal Venom™ provides a deadly combination of length with an angular strike on light-medium oil conditions.  It features the latest MOTIV® cover technology and the outstanding original Gear™ core from the Venom™ Shock.

The Gear™ core gives the Fatal Venom™ both low RG and low differential so it spins super-fast with minimal track flare.  The result is a stable ball motion with massive energy retention.

Utilizing the latest Infusion™ Pearl Reactive cover, the Fatal Venom™ offers great length and angularity. These traction characteristics joined with the control of the Gear™ core provide a clean and moderately angular motion that is ideal for scoring on drier lanes.

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant: For straighter angles on moderately dry lanes.  The Gear core and Infusion combo will allow the bowler to use the pearl to clear the front without sacrificing control down lane.
  • Balanced: A great dry lane benchmark piece.  If you know that there is not a lot of volume on the lane or the lane surface is higher friction, this will be a great first ball out of the bag.
  • Rev Dominant: When the most angular balls in the product line are too much down lane, the Fatal Venom will be the go-to option.

    Sweet looking pearl that produces

First of all the color scheme on this ball is killer. Instantly recognizable and looks rad going down the lanes. Secondly, this is an excellent pearl option especially if you already love and use the Venom Shock! It provides a similar feel but gives you that longer, snappier motion that you need from a pearl ball when the Venom Shock isn't coming into the pocket strong. This ball is very useful when the oil starts to burn up but definitely reacts strong to friction so it needs a little oil to get through the fronts. I don't have to use this ball as often as the rest of my arsenal but I'm comfortable knowing I have a sound choice when the lanes really get burnt up on me. So, in review, the ball looks AWESOME, the pearl cover clears the front of the lane very cleanly, and this ball reacts strong and fast on the friction. My girlfriend and league teammate both have one that they use as their primary ball and have no complaints.

More than I expected by a lot!!

I have had my eye on the Fatal Venom for a while now. Talked to others that have it and received mixed reviews. Let me tell you, try it for yourself. The Fatal Venom is EXTREMELY versatile. I drilled it pin down and can use it on high friction lanes and light oil or move right and glide it into the pocket on heavier volumes. I had no idea I would be able to throw this ball in so many different situations. It is a blast throw and looks amazing. The Fatal Venom exceeds all expectations.

    Bites Hard

You can’t say anything bad about the Fatal Venom. I started bowling again less than a year ago and was having a hard time after game 1. First game average with the VIP Affliction is 219. Second game average is 195. Third game average is 204. I started using the Fatal Venom game 2 after the lanes dry up a bit. Second game average is now up to 210 and third game average is 215.

The Fatal Venom has a great angular motion than seems to find the pocket like a heat seeking missile. Once it gets to the pocket there is so much energy left that it’s like a 5yr old that just had Easter dinner full of chocolate. Those Tim(10) pins don’t stand a chance.

If don’t want to skip a beat when the lanes dry up and still need that angular motion then the Fatal Venom is the ball for you.

    Great compliment to Shock

Recently got this ball to go along with my Shock. My Shock is sanded at 2000 and works great for the first 2 games. In game 3, this ball takes over. It really likes the straight line, between 10-15, but if that not there, you can move left and throw this out to the right and it comes back.
