Fatal Venom

The Fatal Venom™ provides a deadly combination of length with an angular strike on light-medium oil conditions.  It features the latest MOTIV® cover technology and the outstanding original Gear™ core from the Venom™ Shock.

The Gear™ core gives the Fatal Venom™ both low RG and low differential so it spins super-fast with minimal track flare.  The result is a stable ball motion with massive energy retention.

Utilizing the latest Infusion™ Pearl Reactive cover, the Fatal Venom™ offers great length and angularity. These traction characteristics joined with the control of the Gear™ core provide a clean and moderately angular motion that is ideal for scoring on drier lanes.

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant: For straighter angles on moderately dry lanes.  The Gear core and Infusion combo will allow the bowler to use the pearl to clear the front without sacrificing control down lane.
  • Balanced: A great dry lane benchmark piece.  If you know that there is not a lot of volume on the lane or the lane surface is higher friction, this will be a great first ball out of the bag.
  • Rev Dominant: When the most angular balls in the product line are too much down lane, the Fatal Venom will be the go-to option.

    Perfect fit for my needs

This was the fifth Motiv ball I have bought. I needed a ball to fill the spot between my Alpha Jackal and my Villain Scorn. Once I filled that spot my average has went up 16 pins due to the gap between the Jackal and Villain. I couldn’t be happier with the reaction I get out of this ball.

It's a VENOM, of course its awesome

I've been rolling the OG shock as a benchmark ball for 3 years so naturally this ball peaked my interest. I needed a ball that would work well on dryer lane conditions and the Fatal worked fantastic for me. First game out of the box was a 242 with a 6 bagger in the mix. This ball is super clean and thanks to the gear core gives you that controllable rounder motion. I would highly recommend the Fatal for light oil/dry lanes. Feed it to the friction and watch it crush the pocket. Great ball!

    Big Bite

This ball surprised me with its big bite on the backend! Wow it finishes hard! I’m able to play more boards with this ball knowing it has that hook at the end. Great ball for anyone's bag!!

Yes so glad I got this!!

So I needed a weaker arsenal for high fiction wood lanes.. this ball is crazy!! Man it looks nice, but performs far more! I did a pin down layout on this and it is so smooth others notice! It works exactly as needed for high friction wood, but here's the kicker... our house is known for heavy oil.. frustrates a lot of people... I been throwing the viper pattern for PBA lately and decided to try the line with the fatal.... to my surprise and many this ball breezed through the oil and cut hard into the pins shooting a 279 . Speechless! How can a ball perform in 2 different worlds.. I m not sure but I am NOT complaining!! Pin down it... see for yourselves!! Happy bowling everyone!!

    Must Have With The Arsenal

I had gotten this bowling ball for free of choice out of the 8 bowling balls for Get Your Gear League. I decided on this ball because I was looking for a bowling ball that was designed for light to medium oil conditions and this was the only ball on the list. Lucky for me because I'm all about supporting Michigan businesses. Even though this ball is meant to read the lane late, it was great at reacting through the oil when you would throw furthest to the left and even from the mid if the oil was a little bit heavier. I had never had any issues with this bowling ball being unpredictable, IMHO.
