Admittedly, I haven’t had much luck with Jackals in the past. I’ve always chalked that up to a big, rolly asymmetrical not fitting my style well.
That is absolutely not the case with the Legacy. This ball is different. Although this review is based on a fairly small sample size (4-5 games), I’ve been nothing short of amazed by it.
Strong is the easy way to describe it, but it’s so much more than just strong. It’s versatile enough to do what it’s “supposed” to do with differing hand positions. It’s forgiving enough to make up for some operator error. It’s early enough to read the midlane well, but long enough that it retains energy through the pins. Bottom line, this is the ball I always wanted a Jackal to be.
As a bonus, Motiv hit a home run with the subtle use of 3 colors in this ball. Not only does it look mean, it rolls mean and hits mean too.
