The Jackal™ is back and stronger than ever before!  The Jackal™ Rising is an obvious choice for speed dominant bowlers who are looking for maximum hook potential.  Bowlers competing on high volume oil patterns will want the Jackal Rising in their bag.  And, because of the smooth motion that this ball delivers, it is also a great option for blending over/under situations.

The new Coercion HV2 (High Volume 2nd Edition) cover creates more friction and has been tuned for the Jackal Rising with a 2000 Grit LSS finish to maximize hook potential.  This new cover not only creates traction in the oil, but finishes with impressive power.  With more differential, this asymmetric beast will help every bowler cross more boards on heavy oil conditions.

    Best Ball I’ve ever had

The Jackal Rising is one of the best bowling balls I’ve had throughout the 3 years I’ve been bowling. When I heard about that the new Jackal Rising that was coming out, I asked my pro shop driller to help me reserve one. When I finally got to see the ball, I decided to have a pin up so that I got to have that nice reaction. My dad figured that since the pin up one was so good, he decided to get me another one, which was a pin down. Using the ball during one of the competitions I had in late Feb, I shot my very first 300. I continued with the Pin down Jackal until the 2nd game. I switched to the pin up one and bowled a fantastic game. In the end, I won the competition using my 2 Jackal Rising’s and the lethal paranoia. #getMOTIVated

    The Truth

I used the numbers, 60x4.5x40 when I punched my Jackal Rising. Generally, when drilling a ball this strong, I tend to go with longer pins, to try to store as much energy as possible, since Long Island house shots generally hook a ton. I kept it at the box 2000 surface, and i was not disappointed. I was able to keep all of my angles pretty closed on the fresh, while the ball was still pretty smooth off the end of the pattern, and then when the fronts started to go away, it was small moves (2&1, 3&2) left, with some hand position tweaks, and the ball kept going through the pins better and better! I was able to go as far left as i needed, and the Rising kept shaping off the corner better and better for me. Generally i am not able to use such strong cores for so long in league, but not here. This is one of the most versatile high performance pieces i have ever thrown.

If you don't have one, you need one. If you have 1, you need another.

    Extremely Happy

I just bought one and have bowled with it 3 times. Once in league and twice for practice. I didn't do too well the first 2 times, but my third practice round with league friends I shot 689. My third game I had the front 8 and shot 266. I'm a 196 average bowler so I was happy with that. I've always been a stand on 20 and throw hard up 10 and watch it walk into the pocket type of bowler. The league I play a lot of people are like that and I got the Rising because I wanted to be able to create a different angle that won't break down as fast. I was moving 3-5 boards every game. With the Rising and angle I'm playing I've only had to move 3 boards the entire night. Now i'm standing on 28, throwing over 13-15 out to 7-9 and it comes back nicely. I've only left 1 ringing 10 so far and that's when I got left and hung it in the middle and the 6 pin went in front of the 10 from it entering too high in the pocket. Over all I'm very happy with the ball. I've only bowled on 40' house shot and a 42' sport shot with med-heavy oil. Looking forward to trying it out on other longer patterns.
