This ball is the epitome of a benchmark ball.
A very well balanced ball for any style of bowler.
For myself being a typical tweeter style lefty this ball was exactly what I needed. I drilled up two of them. The layout I found I had the best success with was with a 50x5x30.
This layout really allowed the ball to not pick up too early while maintain quite a bit of down lane finish. What I was quite impressed with is the fact that as I opened up the lane, the ball never lost its finish. I could open up the lane and the ball would pick up off the spot even harder.
Before this ball the Venom Shock was my benchmark, however with the all new Pride that is no more. The Pride is an absolute must have in anyone’s Arsenal!

The first thing I noticed when I drilled up my Pride was how versatile it was. I could play different parts of the lane on a fresh house shot and strike at will from anywhere between 1st and 4th arrow. Even as I moved deeper into the lane I wasn't losing any down lane motion or hitting power through the pins.
The combination of the Coercion™ UCS Solid Reactive cover and all new Dominion™ asymmetric core provides me with a true benchmark shape to add to my arsenal that I can rely on in almost any conditions. This will be the first ball out of my bag at tournaments for a long time coming!

When we were informed of the Pride, we were told that it would be a new, mid-level benchmark ball. I was a little unsure at first based on the core numbers since it is asymmetric. I was COMPLETELY proved wrong. The Pride is of the utmost benchmark shapes. Controllable, smooth, continuous, and all of the words that are synonymous with the idea of a benchmark ball. To have a ball that for me, bridges the gap perfectly between balls like the Venom Shock and Venom Recoil, to the Jackal Ghost, Trident Horizon, and Forge Flare. This is a ball I have wanted for quite a while and I definitely think any player could use this piece in their bag.

Drilled this as soon as I got. Was impressed with its range of play out of the box. Was hesitant to throw it as Ive been scoring so well with the Supra Enzo and Ripcord Velocity, but the last 2 weeks have changed my mind. This is my new benchmark. Great for up the lane on heavier volume while still amazing at playing in the middle and covering extra boards. A must have that you wont be disappointed.

Thank you Motiv, you have wonderful products! Not only do they look great, they perform to match.
Bought the Pride and Trident Horizon 2 weeks ago (14lbs), used in a Sport Shot league on the 2021 Wolf 34' pattern, and once on my THS league pattern StoneStreet.
When I saw the initial reviews of the Pride, I just loved how it looks when it turns to the pins. The clarity of the motion is so clear with the alternating black/orange coloring. I was sure this was a ball I would enjoy.
So did it look that way for me? Hells yes it does!! It's both a beautiful ball as it rolls, and as it hits the pins. I LOVE throwing this ball. The color scheme makes it so easy to tell how much hand I used on that release; when it's reading and adjusting; and finally when it makes the final turn for the headpin.
Performance you ask?
1st game was on 2021 Wolf 34' pattern, gm 3. 235! (was avg 163 after 6 wks).
On THS league, with a 198 avg, I under performed a 206 and 230, so if I hadn't botched the 10th frames, probably would have been 220+ and 240+.
Combined with the Horizon producing a 286 last night, I had my first 700 series in over 28 years (i did stop bowling for 25 of those). In my 3 years back, 661 had been my best.
Kudos Motiv, and forget about recommending to a friend, 2 competitors are already placing orders after borrowing my Pride for a couple shots!
