Versatility. Continuation. With a brand-new core and cover stock, the Pride™ from MOTIV® is the designed to be the perfect benchmark piece.  Unique from anything currently available from MOTIV®, the Pride™ fits perfectly into the medium oil position of the ball guide.

The new technology at the heart of the Pride™ is the Dominion™ core.  It has specifications that place it between the Gear™ APG and the asymmetrical cores seen in the Trident™ and Jackal™ series.  These unique asymmetric specifications leverage the physics of the Dominion™ core so the Pride™ can be used on moderate volumes of oil and higher friction than the typical asymmetric bowling ball.

Additionally, now that weight holes are illegal in competition, the asymmetric Dominion™ core will enable players to control ball motion more than most symmetric cores.  MOTIV® Tour Rep, Brett Spangler, said, “What’s so cool about this core to me is that I never felt like I was throwing an asym.  I get the versatility of the asymmetrical core, but the Pride™ never wanted to go too forward down lane or glue up too much in the front.  To have the versatility of an asym without some of the traditional drawbacks is incredible.”

The Dominion™ core is encased with the latest reactive Coercion™ cover stock from MOTIV® called UCS – Ultimate Continuation Solid.   It was created by providing more length and more angle to the existing Coercion™ MXC cover technology.  This new UCS Reactive cover stock is the most versatile Coercion™ shell to date and complements the unique specifications of the Dominion™ core perfectly.

Speed Dominant Bowlers

Bowlers with higher speed or lower rev rates benefit greatly from asymmetrical cores.  Providing versatility in drilling and the ability to limit the skid phase for bowlers who struggle to get the ball to slow down is a massive plus.

Balanced Bowlers

For balanced bowlers this is the centerpiece to their arsenal.  The Pride is the first ball out of the bag and the one used most often.  The controllable core and cover combination allows balanced bowlers to use the Pride on a variety of surfaces and concentrations of oil.  The easily tuned Coercion UCS Cover can also be shined or scuffed to allow an even broader window for balanced bowlers to use the Pride.

Rev Dominant Bowlers

For many rev dominant bowlers, asymmetrical balls are too strong to use on house shots and moderate oil patterns.  A lower differential and cleaner cover than most asymmetrical solids allows rev dominant bowlers to have an asym in their bag that they can use on many more patterns and higher friction surfaces.

    Very Versatile

Got this ball on a trade with a friend of mine for an Enzo. Love the ball. Almost every 200 game this year has came from that ball, even my high game this year a 233 came from this ball. It is also very versatile. I can throw it with my feet at middle dot and up 2nd arrow on house. Can throw 1st arrow with feet 2 dots to the right on sport shot and strike. I am 12 years old and this ball is the best I have ever had.

    “THE” Benchmark ball

I have been looking at the Pride for a few months now. Finally picked one up this week and threw it today. That is how impressed I am with this ball. I am speed dominant and tend to play a little straighter because of that. The Pride loved playing right with a little less oil. I slowed down and moved left and the Pride was still stalking right to the pocket. Perfect for medium to low oil, perfect benchmark piece to round out my bag. Reminded me a lot of my first Motiv piece, the Forge Flare. I feel like the Pride was made for me, that feeling you get off your hand when you know the ball is going to strike and hearing it hit the pins is the best sound ever.

When I say this ball does not stop it does not matter if you throw it to the right or if you keep it in a little... this ball just keeps going.

Nice smooth arch in the oil

This is my go to ball for Med/heavy oil. Very forgiving with a nice arch. Just beware, not good on light oil if you are high rev bowler or picking up a 10! I’m 14 and throwing 15lbs at 12-15.5mph according to pattern and I’m hitting 600 series pretty much every time I hit the lanes. I’m Motiv all the way and have been for 3 years and don’t plan on rolling anything else unless the college I go to has specific brands I have to throw. It will be a hard decision if I must choose!

    Love it!

I made the switch to Motiv in 2020 after not bowling for 17yrs. I always was a Storm guy years ago. But getting back into bowling after all them years away I didn't know anything. So the Venom Recoil was the first ball I bought coming back. Was doing ok with it but wasn't a good fit for me because the way the game changed and was trying old layouts. But I seen the Pride was ready to be released when I was at the pro shop to get the Supra Enzo. I decided not to get the Enzo and wait for the Pride. The best decision I made, about 3 days after I got it shot a 300 and 720 set. That ball will be in the bag wherever I bowl because it's that versatile.
