I first threw the Pride at a test drive as it was the only ball I had not thrown and I was pleasantly surprised. This ball turns the corner hard and hits like a freight train. I don't have a huge rev rate, but this ball moves me left and I can create angle. I eventually got one and drilled it. I struggled to find a spot for it in my bag, then one night without paying attention I had the front 9. Once I noticed it, my emotions got the best of me and I missed my first perfect game. I've realized now that for me, the pride rolls better on the transition than on the fresh.

I wasn’t sure to believe what some people were saying about the Pride being a “benchmark” ball, but man they were right.
For my speed and revs , I can play straight up the 5 to 7 area and get a feel as I move left. A little adjustment and it will grab in the friction very nicely and controlled. Some balls feel like the core and cover fight each other, not so with the pride. They seem to work well and give a nice, controlled shape as you move across the lane. And if the reaction isn't working for the lane conditions, you can go up or down in ball strength or shape. That's the beauty of the Pride, its such a solid starting point that makes it easy to decide if you need to change balls and even easier to find a lane that works for you. Plus it's eye candy, Motiv hit a home run with the looks of this one, it's a beauty. Can't recommend this one enough.

I got the Pride and wasn't sure what to expect. I have the Rogue Assassin and the Pride is a great compliment to it. I have a symmetric benchmark with the Rogue Assassin and an asym benchmark with the Pride. The Pride is a little more dynamic down lane and the Rogue Assassin is more even and smoother down lane. It is perfect for a house shot.

Wow! This all taught me a lot. First, it took me a while to figure this ball out. I struggled to understand where it fit into my bag until I was in a jam, pulled it out, and it saved me! This ball taught me how to give a ball more revs/hand to get its full effect and power through the pins. Plenty of 700s with this ball!
