Bearing the legacy of its predecessors, Leverage XFS coverstock technology is built to dominate a modern environment. The new modifications made to Leverage technology digs in the oil, yet provides slightly more length and energy retention than the Jackal Ambush. This allows for more down lane motion and added versatility. This Leverage XFS creates a controllable, benchmark shape for high concentrations of oil.


The Affliction V2 core is the strongest symmetrical core used by MOTIV Bowling. The fast spinning, low RG of the Affliction V2 gives the Motiv Raptor Fury strength in the mid lane and control. The high differential of .055 means that the Raptor Fury has incredible flare potential. Many bowlers look primarily to asymmetrical bowling balls for heavy oil. However, the versatility of a symmetrical core can be an advantage due to the outstanding continuation produced.

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant - For bowlers who struggle to see ball motion, the Raptor Fury will serve as a benchmark.  The versatility of the Affliction V2 core along with the control of the Leverage XFS cover means that speed dominant bowlers will have a predictable ball to take out of their bag first to read the lane.
  • Balanced - In testing, our balanced bowlers loved that they were able to use the Raptor Fury longer than heavy oil balls are normally used.  The Leverage XFS cover is designed to be used from many angles, allowing bowlers to move in as the lane transitions without being forced out of their ball for fresh.
  • Rev Dominant - The advantage provided by the Raptor Fur for rev dominant bowlers is primarily found in the core.  Many rev dominant players see too much forward motion down lane from asymmetrical bowling balls.  The symmetrical Affliction V2 core will match up well for bowlers concerned about their heavy oil balls being too forward down lane.

    Wow

    I was really shocked with the Raptor Fury. I struggled with the pearl version but not this. I have drilled four of them. This ball has given me the confidence to throw it right. It has so much recovery for the lower rev bowler. It is an awesome match with my Forge Ember and my EXJ VIP. Thank you Motiv - keep the amazing equipment coming

    Dependable ball

    I have been struggling all season - I picked this ball up and the second time out with this ball, I bowled close to a 700 series. My avg is normally around 190 and that night I finished averaging 230!

    I just threw it out to the right and the ball came back to the pocket every time. I drove through the pins and didn't leave many 10 pins. It finished strong every time. Even when I would jerk the ball a little it stayed the course and finished!!

    If I could just get out of my own way - I would have had a bigger night. Great ball!!

    Resilient Raptor

    The all new Raptor Fury has proven itself as a very unique piece in the Motiv lineup. Now that I have had time to throw this ball on a multitude of patterns, I can see the difference this ball creates. While like most balls in this category, the Raptor Fury is an earlier hooking ball that creates control on heavy patterns however, I have seen how it still stores enough energy down lane to get through the pins. As a lower rev player, this helps me tremendously as it gives confidence to know that it still does store enough energy to strike instead of burning up too early!

    The big symmetric solid you've been waiting for!

    The Raptor Fury follows in the footsteps of the Sky Raptor being the heaviest oil symmetric core MOTIV offers and the R&D department really knocked this one out of the park! The Fury creates a perfect complementary shape to balls like the Jackal Ambush and Jackal Ghost by providing a cleaner and more continuous shape than the Ambush while maintaining a smoother shape than the Ghost. The cover matches the core perfectly giving you that symmetric option to still be the first ball out of your bag on heavy oil conditions. I love the way the Fury maintains energy while still digging in oil and seemingly never running out of gas going through the pins. If you're looking for a big symmetric solid to round out the top of your bag, this is it! Go pick one up today!

    Raptor Fury, Create Some Carnage on the Lanes!

    Check out the link below for my ball review for Motiv's new Raptor Fury! This heavy oil ball features the strongest symmetrical core in the Motiv line the Affliction™ V2 Symmetric wrapped in the new Leverage™ XFS Solid Reactive. This combo gives you a ball which will dig in the heavy oil and give you great control and continuation down lane! This ball is great early in block and when the backs are tricky but don't be fooled, I feel I can shape this ball a little more keeping it in my hands longer. Do you need a benchmark ball for heavier oil conditions, this ball is for you!
