Bearing the legacy of its predecessors, Leverage XFS coverstock technology is built to dominate a modern environment. The new modifications made to Leverage technology digs in the oil, yet provides slightly more length and energy retention than the Jackal Ambush. This allows for more down lane motion and added versatility. This Leverage XFS creates a controllable, benchmark shape for high concentrations of oil.


The Affliction V2 core is the strongest symmetrical core used by MOTIV Bowling. The fast spinning, low RG of the Affliction V2 gives the Motiv Raptor Fury strength in the mid lane and control. The high differential of .055 means that the Raptor Fury has incredible flare potential. Many bowlers look primarily to asymmetrical bowling balls for heavy oil. However, the versatility of a symmetrical core can be an advantage due to the outstanding continuation produced.

WHEN TO USE:

  • Speed Dominant - For bowlers who struggle to see ball motion, the Raptor Fury will serve as a benchmark.  The versatility of the Affliction V2 core along with the control of the Leverage XFS cover means that speed dominant bowlers will have a predictable ball to take out of their bag first to read the lane.
  • Balanced - In testing, our balanced bowlers loved that they were able to use the Raptor Fury longer than heavy oil balls are normally used.  The Leverage XFS cover is designed to be used from many angles, allowing bowlers to move in as the lane transitions without being forced out of their ball for fresh.
  • Rev Dominant - The advantage provided by the Raptor Fur for rev dominant bowlers is primarily found in the core.  Many rev dominant players see too much forward motion down lane from asymmetrical bowling balls.  The symmetrical Affliction V2 core will match up well for bowlers concerned about their heavy oil balls being too forward down lane.

    Attack the lanes with Fury

    When a ball comes out that is named after a bird of prey, you know carnage is coming to the pins. The Raptor Fury is the latest piece from MOTIV that slots into the heavy oil, smoother motion place on the ball chart, and that is exactly what you will see when you get yours on the lanes.

    I based the layout of my Fury on my Sky Raptor as that ball gave me a controlled, forward look on medium oil conditions and I wanted to keep that but with heavier volumes; that is exactly what I have now. This one-two punch in my arsenal excels when the lane conditions dictate controlling the breakpoint from a front-to-back manner rather than a side-to-side manner, removing as much over-under as possible in today’s conditions. The Fury digs deep in the mid-lane as the Affliction V2 Symmetric core (2.48 RG, .055 Diff) starts revving up early while the Leverage XFS Solid Reactive coverstock provides ample traction. This pairing allows the ball to start moving before it hits the end of the oil pattern, creating a forward, rolling motion that continues through the pins with plenty of power to spare. Most nights I can get through game one with the Fury, which sets up a good transition plan to get me into the cleaner, quicker responding Sky to open game two. Fresh conditions and straighter angles are the best conditions I have matched up on with the Fury so far.

    Amazing

    This leverage cover and this core is the perfect match it gives me a nice look on our house shot that has a good amount of cliff. It’s very smooth and gives me a good bit of recovery if miss out I’m telling this ball I will have few more drilled thank you Motiv family keep them coming

    The brand-new Raptor Fury features the new Leverage XFS coverstock and the Affliction V2 core. This ball in my bag is a stronger benchmark ball. It reminds me of my Venom Shock but on steroids. It has the predictability that the Venom Shock has but is built for heavier volume of oil. The Raptor Fury is more than likely the first ball out of my bag to see what the lanes are doing. With this layout it does not dig in the oil super early and makes it even more versatile for me. With the Affliction V2 core I can play a smaller angle or really open the lanes, knowing that the new Raptor Fury with the Affliction V2 core will make it around the corner. This Raptor Fury will go with me to all my tournaments and regular league play. This Raptor Fury is a keeper and must have in any bowler bag.

    Have used the ball twice at league so far and love it. First series was 675 followed by a 725. Nice and strong through the backend very smooth off my hand and controllable.

    I really feel the Fury!

    This ball got my attention because it’s my favorite color. I bought this ball because I currently own the Jackal Ambush and the Nuclear Forge. This ball has been amazing from the first throw. I am a low rev bowler just learning different styles on the lanes, and this ball has really helped me out. With this one, I can move to the right (I’m a lefty), get to the pocket. I’m looking forward to other great Motiv balls in the future.
