If you’re looking for a symmetrical ball that you need to count on turning the corner the Ripcord is the ball you’re looking for. A lot of pearl symmetrical ball don’t rev up early enough and squirt past the break point. The Ripcord has easy length with revving late in the midlane with tons continuation on the back easily the sharpest breakpoint out of any Motiv ball I have thrown. I drilled 2; one pin down 4 1/4” pin, which offers moderate control with good shape down lane. The other is pin up 4 ¾” pin and this one is very clean with tons of pop.

I have two Ripcords, both are great balls. One is drilled to go longer, and I have found it to come in handy when lanes are drying out.

I've been throwing Motiv since the beginning( the sx1 days) and have throw everything I can get my hands on. Since I have drilled this ball I haven't been able to put it down. The Ripcord reads the lane like a dream and when it hits friction, is fast off the spot and has such great continuation through the pins. This is a ball that isn't leaving my bag anytime soon and I'd suggest giving it a shot. At least check out your local test drive event and see for yourself you will not be disappointed!!

The Motiv Ripcord features the all new Infusion Reactive cover and the Oblivion core from the Paranoia series. The combination of this cover and core has allowed for a true skid flip motion. I have found that the Ripcord allows me to really open my angles up as games go on through a session, but without losing hitting power. The Ripcord is very responsive to down lane friction, and I have found a great spot in the bag for it after my Rogue Assassin. I can start with the Assassin and when the angle becomes too steep for the Assassin, I can go straight to the Ripcord and continue striking. Do yourself a favor and add a Ripcord to the bag!

Drilled up the Ripcord right at release date and haven't looked back. The center I bowl league at is known for how much friction there is. This ball matches up with that perfectly. I am able to move well to the inside part of the lane, and know that the Ripcord will easily have no problem not only making the turn, but also going through the pins with ease. Ball skates seamlessly through the heads and delivers a powerful left turn at the break point. Can't get enough of this motion, and really looking forward to throwing it all season.
