The Rogue Assassin is a great benchmark ball. It is both strong and smooth, giving it the ability to blend out the oil pattern and create a nice, even ball reaction. When the lanes start to transition, this is the ball to go to. The layout I used was 50x3.5"x35 which puts the pin just right of my ring finger.

The combination of the proven Sigma Core and the Coercion HFS cover (found in the Jackal Ghost) help make the Rogue Assassin a perfect benchmark ball. This ball provides me with a consistent read of the pattern through the middle of the lane, and a continuous motion down lane into the pins. With less hook overall than the Jackal Ghost, the Assassin becomes a great ball on tricky lane conditions when controlling the pocket is a must. This is a must have for anyone looking to add a great benchmark shape to their arsenal!

Just drilled it up yesterday and WOW is this ball good. The hitting power is impressive, but what most impressed me was its versatility and how it got to the pocket consistently even when I missed my mark. Will be my benchmark ball from now on.

MOTIV's new Rogue Assassin has one of the most successful cover and core combinations in the company's history. It has the Core of the Sigma series and the cover of the Jackal Ghost. For me, the result has been a ball that grabs in the oil and revs up exceptionally hard in the backend. I drilled it up and my first game of league out of the box was a 300 game! I have found that whenever the conditions start to get tricky, the Rogue Assassin always finds a way to the pocket. And it hits harrrrrrrrd. If you're looking for a dependable ball that has the potential to be great on anything but the most extreme conditions, the Rogue Assassin is probably close to what you're looking for.
