View Privacy Policy The Rogue Assassin is Motiv's new mid level solid. This ball gives an early, strong, and controllable shape down lane. The Rogue Assassin was built for med-high volumes of oil. Being rev dominate, I drilled mine with a 5.5" pin layout to help this ball preserve a little energy as it gets down the lane. This allows me to move left with it when I have to and keep control of the breakpoint as the lanes transition. The Rogue Assassin fits between the Forge and Venom Shock with its motion. The shape it creates is cleaner than the Forge, but earlier than the Shock. Overall less motion than the Forge on the lanes but tad more motion than what the Shock gives. If you’re looking for your next benchmark ball check out the Rogue Assassin!

The Rogue Blade was one of my top 3 ball last season. So I was really looking forward to the Assassin. It has not disappointed yet. Strong early roll with strong mid lane read with smooth continuation. Excellent choice when trying to blend wet dry reaction when the OG Shock is not enough yet.

This is the first Rogue I've ever thrown. I've heard so much over the last year about how good the Sigma core is. Also, I've been told and have experienced how good the Jackal Ghost is. Let me tell you, this is a perfect core and cover combo. This ball reads the middle part of the lane with ease and still retains enough energy for me to have some big movement down lane. It's not angular but it really gets up and goes. This ball is very strong and will tackle mostly medium to heavy oil. I drilled mine with a 40*4*30 layout. So for me it's pin above my ring finger. If you have a house that uses some good volume of oil in the middle GET THIS BALL. It will bounce off the friction and still make it up the hill to the pocket if you miss inside.

Let’s start out by saying this ball is the perfect release by Motiv for the ball chart. Pairing the Ghost cover with the Forza SS core is a genius move by Motiv bowling. The Assassin is the perfect step down from your Ghost or the Trident Abyss when they're a bit too strong for your liking. From what I’m seeing so far from this piece is the earlier, smoother roll, with awesome punch when it gets to the pin deck. It also gives you incredible control and is a perfect benchmark you can trust in multiple situations. Yet another sweet release from Motiv bowling that I expect big things from. Once against Motiv keeps raising the bar in bowling with every release.

The new Rogue Assassin gives you an earlier, stronger and smoother reaction comparative to the Rogue Blade. This ball is a great benchmark to use on a variety of conditions and is strong enough to use as a stepdown to the Jackal Ghost or Trident Abyss. This ball has great continuation through the pins and is great at surface changes. This ball is also great for the price as it is at a medium price point. Comparative to the Forza SS, the Assassin is a little quicker response and is slightly stronger in overall hook. For me, it is a type of ball that will stay in my bag for all type of house and sport patterns.
