Prepare to conquer the deep with the Trident Abyss.  Merging the Turbulent asymmetric core and a modified Coercion cover, this is the strongest ball ever made by MOTIV® and it is built to dominate in a flood of oil.  Beneath the surface of the Trident Abyss is the Turbulent weight block.  It provides a lower RG, high differential, and strong asymmetry. This combination creates maximum track flare to make the turn in deep oil.  The Coercion HV3 (High Volume 3rd Generation) reactive cover on the Trident Abyss has been modified to dig even harder in heavy oil.  The 2-tone gray solid shell is tuned with a 2000 Grit LSS finish to provide maximum traction. The Trident Abyss is an obvious fit for speed dominant and low rev bowlers looking for more hook.  Competitive bowlers will want to use it to cap off their MOTIV® arsenal with a very strong piece that provides control on heavy oil patterns.

    Lots of hook

    This ball will replace your biggest hooking ball in your bag. Period. It feels like an arrow stronger than the Jackals so you know it hooks!

    Trident Abyss .. WOW

    Just wanted to say that this ball is awesome.. I have all the Jackal balls including the original...love all of them.. Beginning of bowling season I bought this ball and have loved it from the beginning.. Improved my game and on 1/30/19 I shot my career best 864 (276,288,300). Didn't have to move once and this ball was consistent. Just wanted to give my love for the Motiv brand.. Will be Motiv for life.. Thank you for making awesome balls.

    Great Control and Backend

    I bought this ball to replace my longtime Storm balls that I have used. I just wanted a switch and I definitely got one. I Bowl in 1 league and since buying this ball my scores have improved significantly. In 4 weeks I have carried a 215 average and bowled my first 300 game. I have tried many different ball manufacturers and ball types this by far is the best I have ever owned. The ball reacts with a massive backend... even a bad ball looks good. I highly recommend this ball !

    Unbelievably smooth!

    I have been bowling for only about six months, but I am into bowling so much that I research everything about it, I bowl about 3-4 times a week. I am in two leagues, and I had three balls until Christmas. Before Christmas I bowled with a Brunswick Magnitude055, I thought that I should get a new ball, a stronger ball. So on Christmas I got the Trident Abyss, I just returned from the bowling ally using this ball for the first time. I could not believe how smooth and continuous it was through the pins. My second game was a 247, clean game. It isn't too abnormal for me to bowl a game like that, but the ball was so good that the second I got home I had to write a review on this ball. And actually it was my first Motiv ball and now that I have seen this, you better believe that my next ball that I get, whenever that may be, it will be from Motiv. Thanks for such an awesome ball.

    A few months ago it was my plan to return to school and bowl, in order to do so I had to attend tryouts.
    Of course the school is sponsored by ebi so it felt good finishing in the top 8 out of 60 plus bowlers.

    The Trident abyss was my weapon of choice, the strong cover stock allowed me to get friction where others couldn't. This ball is strong and smooth rolling. It's a must have in your bag!

    At my shop I recommend this piece to anyone bowling tournaments with heavier patterns.
