Prepare to conquer the deep with the Trident Abyss.  Merging the Turbulent asymmetric core and a modified Coercion cover, this is the strongest ball ever made by MOTIV® and it is built to dominate in a flood of oil.  Beneath the surface of the Trident Abyss is the Turbulent weight block.  It provides a lower RG, high differential, and strong asymmetry. This combination creates maximum track flare to make the turn in deep oil.  The Coercion HV3 (High Volume 3rd Generation) reactive cover on the Trident Abyss has been modified to dig even harder in heavy oil.  The 2-tone gray solid shell is tuned with a 2000 Grit LSS finish to provide maximum traction. The Trident Abyss is an obvious fit for speed dominant and low rev bowlers looking for more hook.  Competitive bowlers will want to use it to cap off their MOTIV® arsenal with a very strong piece that provides control on heavy oil patterns.

    Agressive but a weapon you need

    I have had six Motiv balls, and this Trident Abyss is the best. Although the Jackal Ghost is great, the Abyss needs less maintenance as it stays strong for a much larger number of games. I used it out of the box, and it took a while to control. But after one game, watch out pins. My last series 27 games later was good enough to take the team to first in our division tourney. Teammates noticed, and you will too. Reads without darting. Strong for carry.

    Terror from the deep

    Only one thing to say.
    This ball plays the deepest line with tremendous hook to the pocket. Amazing ball. Especially for those with little revs who need something stronger, and for those with high revs who need a deeper line.

    Love this ball

    I have tried several balls growing up. I went with a different brand at the beginning of my long journey of bowling and came across Motiv about 5 years now. I have 6 Motiv balls. The Trident Abyss is definitely my strongest ball it's just versatile. I can use it on any lane conditions. As long as I adjust myself right I can make it do anything I want. It's perfect for the house shot.
