The Venom line is getting a power upgrade with the new Venom Recoil. This is the first asymmetric Venom ever released by MOTIV and it features the new Gear APG (Asymmetric Performance Gain) weight block.

Because the balance-hole rule has changed, MOTIV created the asymmetric Gear APG weight block to give ball drillers more layout versatility when no balance-hole is used.

The original Venom Shock provides incredible performance at a very affordable price and this new asymmetric Venom Recoil is no different. This ball offers massive value!

    Great ball

    This ball has performed greatly. Probably one of the best Motiv balls I've ever used. I have been extremely consistent with it and have been able to use it in almost any scenario.

    Ball was wonderful out of box and was the first ball out of my bag for awhile. The ball was smooth through the oil and loved to see the friction as well.

    1st game on new ball

    After 3 years out of the game, I decided to come back to league bowling. I set only a 162 average and was having to slow down the shot, and I was not getting solid reads with the equipment I had.

    Finding this ball was worth the wait to get it.
    Right out of the pro shop, I shot 1 practice game (164).
    Learning the new ball, I went right into league and bowled
    213-170-225=608. This ball let me get the speed back up, and it goes down the lane smooth with great backend action. Very readable and easy to adjust with this ball.

    I see my average climbing greatly with this new ball and recommend this ball highly.

    Left-handed, cranker, 500 rev rate and this ball just works. Drilled pin up with MB next to the thumb. I send this ball out and it turns hard and hits solid in the pocket with great pin action.

    Thanks Motiv for bringing this asymmetric ball to the market. It is a must have for any bowler that wants a new ball in the bag that works well for league players.

    You will love the Recoil.

    The Venom Recoil has been the ball of choice at the start of any tournament or league night. This is the first asymmetric Venom in the Venom Line. This ball features a Coercion MFS Reactive cover stock along with the all new Gear APG. At 4,000 grit LSS this ball gives you length along with a strong backend motion.

    16 lbs. this ball has a 2.48 RG, .032 MAX Diff, and .011 INT Diff.
    15 lbs. this ball has a 2.47 RG, .036 MAX Diff, and .013 INT Diff.

    This ball will be a favorite in your bag right from the beginning. I was surprised at how much it hooks and how quick it reads friction. For me, I am 3 boards left to start compared to the Golden Jackal, but these 2 balls make such a good combo once the lanes start to open up.
    This ball has helped me win a big local tournament the first weekend I got it drilled and just recently averaged over 230 in PA States Open Championship with this ball and then with the Golden Jackal.
    This ball is perfect for all styles and everyone I talk to about this ball loves the reaction and the power through the pocket.
