I bought this ball right after I threw my Jackal Rising. I knew I needed something for when I needed to move in and play a tighter line, and this ball is it! It complements my Jackal so well, because it gives me the length through the heads if my Jackal decides it wants to get a little jumpy. This ball finishes just as hard with great continuation through the pins which makes the pins dance beautifully. This ball can also be thrown on fresh if you wanted to play down the boards a little more. Overall this ball has many purposes, and you need one in your bag.

Over the past few months I've decided to make my return into the competitive side of bowling. I already picked up the Jackal Ghost and Rising and both of them have paid for themselves. As did the Venom Cobra I just received about a week ago. I've been practicing everyday on viper and bowling house shot leagues Monday and Wednesday nights.
The layout of choice was 60 x 3 3/4 x 30. This layout read the lane a little later, but provided plenty of recovery on both viper and house pattern. My original intention was to use this ball after short oil carry down. Well, that's still the case. I can break in the house pattern just fine, and on viper, the ball appeared too aggressive at the start. After a little push of the oil down lane, this ball was very controllable and left me plenty of room for error.
This ball will be my house shot ball, after posting 748 tonight and a 299 on Viper earlier in the day(but after carry down).
Before I took a hiatus from bowling the last ball i had was the 2 cruel with same core design, and I loved that too. The Villain Scorn is a wonderful addition to my already proven arsenal. It will pay for itself if you put the money up.
My only wish is that with this core, and with a good hybrid solid shell, they would name it the Hero. Until then, this ball is mine.I would recommend this to a friend

The newest upper mid performance release from Motiv, and the next in the Villain line. The proven Sinister Core is back, but this time wrapped in the newest Hexion Pearl cover technology. This ball has all of the great qualities of the original Villain, except it's cleaner, and comes off the spot harder, which is great for when the original Villain starts to become too early, or you've reached a spot on the lane where it doesn't go through the pins as well. Switch to the Villain Scorn for a cleaner reaction through the front, and a sharper down lane motion.
If you are looking for a ball that compliments the Original Villain perfectly, the VILLAIN SCORN is your answerI would recommend this to a friend

The Villain Scorn features the Sinister core found on the original Villain, and comes with the Hexion SE pearl cover. I have mine drilled with the pin above the fingers and left it at box finish (5000 Grit LSP).
Review:
For me, the Villain Scorn is pretty smooth. I used my VSP as a control ball and I moved about 3 and 1 in off my VSP line. The Scorn reads the lanes much sooner than the VSP, but total board coverage I have them fairly close. I compared the Scorn to my Rogue Blade as well that I have at 2000 grit. I played them right on top of each other and noticed the Scorn got the corner pins out and had more drive going through the pins. I moved another 3 and 1 in off the Scorn line and was able to carry better with the Blade. I see this ball coming into play when I need a pearl without getting too much over under. For me, it’s a perfect ball down from my Rogue Blade and allows me to play a similar part of the lane.

The villain scorn has been a ball that I use mostly end of second game transitions to the third game. When it's late in a tournament and I need something longer and snappier I use this piece!
