The Scorn takes the amazing Sinister Core and applies a form of the Hexion Pearl coverstock to give you an asymmetrical ball that combines length with a strong downlane angular motion.
This ball fits in to the current Motiv line by falling as a ball down to your Jackal Rising and Trident Abyss for when the lanes start to transition and want to see the ball get through the middle part of the lane better.
The Scorn offers more angle down lane than I have been able to see out of anything that I have thrown recently and allows me to really step left and never worry about this ball bouncing off of the dry.
I would recommend this ball for any house pattern that is out there and for any of the medium length and long sport patterns that you would run in to.
Pick this one up and you're sure to become the new Villain at the bracket table!

Prepare to cause some mayhem with the MOTIV Villain Scorn. Marrying the new Hexion SE Reactive coverstock (5000 LSP) with the Sinister core (2.54RG, .051Diff, .018InterDiff) has further enhanced the MOTIV lineup with a ball that cuts through medium-heavy volumes while still retaining a quick response time once friction is found. I drilled mine with the intention of being able to use it on fresher conditions, especially volumes you will find in typical house shots. Leaving the finely-dull box finish, this ball gives me good traction at the beginning of my sets yet still revs quite quickly once it gets to the backend. By having a strong pearl wrapped around a longer-tumbling core, I can play more open angles out of the gate rather than keeping things closed to start; I am seeing a bit more room for forgiveness because of this. So far in my testing with it I have found my terminus, launch angle wise, to be around 30 board for my lay down crossing the arrows at 21. While the Scorn still gets back to the pocket, at this point the Rogue Blade’s energy retention is better and will allow for greater carrying opportunity. For being a pearl-type reaction, the control I feel with it is more akin to a solid; it is extremely predictable even with having a quick-response backend. If you have a Villain, the Scorn perfectly complements it as a cleaner, faster transition piece to continue the feel of your line deeper onto the lane. Overall, I would say that this is a great piece if you want backend pop for the heavier conditions that usually require earlier rolling equipment. The Villain Scorn will be a staple in my bag for quite the time to come.

The Villain Scorn is one of the smoothest pearl bowling balls I've owned. The big aysemetric sinister weight block, capped off with the Hexion cover, give this ball a great predictable motion earlier in the lane, with one of the strongest yet smoothest flips down lane. I keep mine at 2000 for heavier oil volumes, to give myself even more time to see what it wants to do earlier in the lane. This also allows me to play a bit straighter on heavier volumes to create better angles for pin carry. Once the oil patterns start breaking down the big core of the Villain Scorn will help get her down lane and the cover on this ball will not quit on you! You do not sacrifice pin carry by moving left with this baby. This ball fits in my Motiv arsenal beautifully!

This ball is the newest introduction into the Villain line of MOTIV bowling balls. The MOTIV Villain Scorn features the combination of the Hexion SE (strength enhanced) Reactive cover stock and the Sinister asymmetric core. This ball offers the versatility of the original Villain, with that extra pop down lane we’re all always looking for. Most importantly, it features the continuation through the pins that MOTIV balls are becoming known for.
It will be a great fit in your bag on medium oil. The Villain Scorn will become that ball you can count on when the fronts start to go and you need to open up the lane a little. The Villain Scorn will provide great length with a fast and deliberate response to the friction at the backend of the lane. This ball features enhanced motion, due to it’s higher differential that yields massive track flare.
My Villain Scorn is laid out pin down (below my bridge), the cg shifted to the right (no extra hole). This ball has already found a place in my bag and drives through the pins with easy from what seems like any angle. If you are looking for a ball to retain energy, will make the corner with you open up your angles, has continuation and awesome hitting power. Look no further, you've found it.

With the SINISTER CORE and the HEXION SE COVER at 5000 LSP you CANNOT go wrong with this ball. I added a touch of polish to get a little more length from the box finish. It consistently hits the spot and turns the corner with power. And if your like me you tug 1 or 2 it will hold and still crush the pocket. This is a ball to have multiples of.
