Wrapped around the Affliction V2 core is the new Leverage MXV Solid reactive coverstock. This cover evolved for today’s conditions. Strong enough to chew through high volumes of oil but versatile enough to create motion when lanes are tight. It’s as strong in the soup as the Subzero Forge or Jackal Onyx, but it keeps its shape downlane for more drive through the pins. While previous Leverage covers were built to smooth things out, the Raptor Reign dominates carrydown with nonstop drive. Don’t chase reaction, impose it with the Raptor Reign.
The Raptor Reign is a dream come true for speed dominant bowlers as it provides a fast spinning, high flaring core with a coverstock that digs in the front without losing all of its steam down lane. More down lane motion with a strong coverstock is a great development for speed dominant players.

Over the last year, Landin Jordan, EJ Tackett, Ethan Fiore, and Santtu Tahvanainen have all found success using polished Subzero Forges. In conversation about what should be next, the feeling was that a stronger solid cover that was not as forward down lane would be a great addition. The Raptor Reign is that new addition the highest rev tour players asked for. Outstanding on fresh and heavy oil, but also a versatile trick for controlling the lanes even when shiny, the Raptor Reign is the next evolution in heavy oil symmetrics.
No regrets getting this ball, it does everything it was made to do. Bought the ball initially to combat Urethane carry down but was pleasantly surprised that I can even use it for my Local House Patterns with lower volumes of oil.
Overall the Raptor Reign is a very usable and controllable ball that has a very good Core and Coverstock combination.

Hits hard. Average has gone up 10 pins since purchasing. Was throwing Raptor Rush prior. Reign reads early and hits hard!!! Getting ready to purchase a second one.

First ball I bought after a long ten years away from bowling. I start every league night with it. I was so impressed with the balls performance I now have 4 Motiv balls.
Can play multiple arrows on the lane and go through the pins with power!

Out of box this ball hit like a truck after a few games the backend seemed to settle down and became a very reliable starter for me.
