Fast.  Lane conditions change, but winners adapt.  Introducing the Raptor Reign, a modern heavy-oil beast designed for high-performance bowlers who need added bite on the lanes. This new Raptor is an aggressive solid reactive ball built with the new competitive bowling environment in mind. This ball grips the lane in its talons and never lets go.

THE CORE: POWER, UNLEASHED

At the heart of the Raptor Reign is the Affliction V2—MOTIV’s strongest symmetrical core, period.  This fast-spinning, low-RG powerhouse grips the mid-lane in its talons, giving you the control you crave.  With a high differential of .055, the Raptor Reign provides incredible flare potential.  Forget the myth that only asym cores can handle heavy oil. This core brings the versatility and incredible continuation synonymous with symmetrical cores to heavy oil conditions.

Wrapped around the Affliction V2 core is the new Leverage MXV Solid reactive coverstock. This cover evolved for today’s conditions.  Strong enough to chew through high volumes of oil but versatile enough to create motion when lanes are tight. It’s as strong in the soup as the Subzero Forge or Jackal Onyx, but it keeps its shape downlane for more drive through the pins. While previous Leverage covers were built to smooth things out, the Raptor Reign dominates carrydown with nonstop drive.  Don’t chase reaction, impose it with the Raptor Reign.

When to Use

Speed Dominant - The Raptor Reign is a dream come true for speed dominant bowlers as it provides a fast spinning, high flaring core with a coverstock that digs in the front without losing all of its steam down lane.  More down lane motion with a strong coverstock is a great development for speed dominant players.

Balanced Bowlers - Balanced bowlers are going to love the Raptor Reign early in blocks on high volume conditions.  Even if there is urethane dragging oil down lane, the Raptor Reign will be a great option due to the versatile coverstock and strong Affliction V2 core.

Rev Dominant - For the highest rev rate and lowest ball speed bowlers, the Raptor Reign will be a versatile must have in the arsenal.  Over the last year, Landin Jordan, EJ Tackett, Ethan Fiore, and Santtu Tahvanainen have all found success using polished Subzero Forges.  In conversation about what should be next, the feeling was that a stronger solid cover that was not as forward down lane would be a great addition.  The Raptor Reign is that new addition the highest rev tour players asked for.  Outstanding on fresh and heavy oil, but also a versatile trick for controlling the lanes even when shiny, the Raptor Reign is the next evolution in heavy oil symmetrics.

    This thing is absolutely insane!!!!

    If you want something with TONS of bite, control, and pin wracking power then the RAPTOR Reign is for you!!! Its been a very long time since ive been this impressed with a ball right out of the box. It offers an incredible amount of control while still giving you some room to miss right or left. Its reads the lane really well to helping stay ahead of the transition too.

    Great addition to the line up

    The Raptor Reign is a strong symmetrical ball with predictable continuous ball motion through the pins.

    I'm a higher rev player, it's very impressive to see this ball change directions down lane & still bully it's way through the pins. Great core & cover combination.

    For me I can start with my Raptor Reign on the fresh & transition to my Jackal Ghost or just keep migrating left until the front part of the lanes break down & I move into my Venom Shock.

    This ball definitely lives up to it's name! A great dull ball that maintains continuous powerful motion through the pins!

    The brand new Raptor Reign takes the lead for me as the best Raptor to date. The Affliction™ V2 core is back wrapped in the new Leverage MXV cover stock. The VERY first thing I noticed when throwing this ball is the continuation it provides. As someone with a lower rev rate, getting a ball that hooks a lot to get through the pins can be a challenge. The Raptor Reign has given me all the continuation I could ask for from a more aggressive ball and I couldn’t be more pleased. I’ve thrown this ball during a league night and on multiple longer and heavier patterns and this ball does not stop. If you want a very controlled, more aggressive ball that goes through the pins well, get the Raptor Reign.

    Does More than a Sub Zero Forge

    I know, the tag line / header for this is nuts but it's the absolute truth.

    The Sub Zero Forge was a world beater of a ball last year, It was crazy good and versatile.

    Now Entering the Ring is The NEW Raptor Reign and Its telling the Sub Zero Forge to Hold It's Beer

    More Continuation thru the Pins - YES

    It's crazy something as good and versatile as the Sub Zero could be out played so convincingly and so quickly but here we are. So don't delay, get to your local shop and order the Raptor Reign, You won't be disappointed!

    Super Fuzzy

    Holy fuzzy out of the box. Motiv has found a way to create tons of traction without completely sacrificing all of the continuation down lane. I am super exited to have a big symmetrical piece back in the bag. I am able to throw this a lot more than the onyx which I attest to the core being a sym vs assym. I really look forward to the season with this ball.
